Our land is separated into Districts which are thereby governed by specific minor gods, or Disciples, in order to ensure peace throughout Istaeoria. Here in Istaeoria, every humanoid is born alongside their spiritual twin, a Mailin, and some are bestowed an astounding power granted only to those chosen by their District’s Disciple in order to combat the many horrors that plague our land. We call these warriors Aurimial. But as in any other story, things aren’t so clear-cut… Not every minor god has been explicitly authorized by Isito to grant a humanoid with these astounding powers, which has created much conflict between our greatest warriors. Come join us in our beloved Istaeoria and witness the greatness of our Aurimial!!... And the shadows that follow our every wake. … I-C-BIAAN is a Magical Kid (boys, girls, nbs, etc!) roleplay that’s set place in a completely new world where all your favorite fantasy creatures live alongside normal humanity. On top of that, every humanoid born in this world is welcomed alongside a twin known as a Mailin, a familiar-like creature which is the physical manifestation of your character’s soul. Only a few humanoids are ever chosen to be Aurimial, this world’s version of a Magical Kid—a warrior who has unlocked magic by becoming one with their Mailin—and your (main) character is one of them! Will you fight against the shadows of Istaeoria with us? Watch the story unfold in I Can’t Believe I’m an Aurimia Now! ----- I-C-BIAAN is a Magical Kid roleplay that I've decided to revive after a year of silence, so we are starting from scratch. It's completely Discord-based with some stuff hosted on Docs, so I'll actually be soliciting this group on various platforms! It WILL have a set story that I plan on revealing some of the major plot points so we can figure out what beats you want to have in your character's arc, but things still haven't started up as I have to figure out how to revamp the story so I can incorporate new players! I don't want anybody ever feeling like they HAVE to roleplay profusely. If you just want to stick around and headcanon, that's cool, too!! In other words: I want to make sure EVERYBODY feels like an important part of the group, so the start will probably happen a bit down the line :3 The world-building document is absolutely gigantic, so you don't have to read it all if you don't want to ahaha, but if you do great! Here are a few points to consider in this world: • Not everybody is an Aurimia (Magical Kid), but your Main Character [b]will be[/b]. • - - That said, your MC doesn't have to be a seasoned Aurimia. They can be a new one. • Any gender is allowed! Magical Boy? Check! Magical Girl? Check! Magical NB? Check! Go wild! We're incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly! • [b]Any fantasy humanoid is allowed.[/b] Nagas? Check. Centaurs? Check. Harpies? Check. If you're unsure over whether or not they're allowed, just ask me and I'll let you know! • Main characters must all be 18- ??? There is no upper age limit considering the diversity of humanoid species I'm allowing. • Your MC's familiar can be based on anything - objects, fantasy creatures, normal animals, etc. It's a reflection of your character's soul, after all. They are all sentient and have a mind of their own. • Please only apply if you're 18+. This group has some dark themes such as death and other mature topics, so please don't apply if you're sensitive to these topics. And that's all I can think of right now! The world is called Istaeoria.


The magical kids are known as Aurimial (plural), Aurimia (singular).


Trigger Warning: These magical kids fight tragic beasts destined to die known as Shards. More info below.


This world involves a system known as the Round system. Every person is born with a physical manifestation of their soul, known as a Mailin
This physical manifestation can be literally anything from a piece of toast to a rock, to a dragon to a tree.


Mailins can use magic, and their twin, known as a Half, cannot use ANY magic, unless they're a specific species with specific traits (such as Incubus/Succubus which can secrete a pheromone that relaxes people). It's not technically magic though, and can be explained "biologically."


People are born with Mailins because the magic is so dense on this planet that it will otherwise kill you. If your Mailin or the Half dies, they become something that is known as a "Shard." This Shard is a tragic, rampaging beast deformed by magic and destined to die. They cannot survive, and NOTHING can bring them back. Nothing.


ANY SPECIES IS ALLOWED HERE. From object-heads to anthropomorphs (furries) to vampires to werewolves to humans to elves.


Istaeoria is geographically based off Earth, but separated into 15 "Districts" which are governed by 15 different Gods. District 14 is an underwater country, and District 15 is a chain of floating Sky Islands.


This roleplay will take place MOSTLY in District 15, Skailes, led by the All of Wind, Eiro. But we can have characters everywhere.


There are a total of 50 gods (known as Alls) on this world, 51 if you include the creator, who's known as Isito. These gods are pretty involved in the world, but do not interfere with most of roundkind's dealings. (Roundkind = Humankind here, but written as Roundkind or Olustias because there are more than just Humans on this world.)


The ruling 15 Alls, known as Disciples, are able to unlock what is known as the Aurimial form, which is the form in which the Half and Mailin fuse, and can use magic. This is technically Roundkind's "original" form but people are dumb and Isito decided to split them up, and now only chosen few can use this magical form. It's basically just a magical girl/boy/nb thing.


Any gender or lackthereof can be a Magical Boy/Girl/NB (aka: an Aurimia).

He was recruited as an Aurimia at a 18 and has donned a mask whenever he transforms, though it's obvious who he is. He works his hardest to maintain the smiles on folks' faces, and will even push himself beyond his limits to protect others. [b]Aurimia[/b] :: Once merged with Nub, his wings become far more elegant and he sprouts a rather fluffy tail he can manipulate to stay well-balanced during flight. He can summon wild blizzards or create large pieces of ice to launch at foes. Equipped with his natural ability to fly, these combos can be quite a force to reckon with. He usually ends up creating a small snowy display for the onlookers after a battle to lift peoples' spirits again before he reverts to his original form.
