~~Daily To Do's~~
A list of possible steps for those working in this forum.
This may change during play testing for camps and as new content is introduced to the world.
Likely Steps Taken
Step 1
Begin the day. Announce the time and date. Decide on weather conditions & zombie likelihood, describe it. Keep it short and sweet. Announce any traveling groups that may be interacted with or any other interesting interaction opportunities for those outside the camps and inside the camps. Add anything that you feel will be good for detail.
Role Necessity - Roll a d20 for the hunter's possibilities and the Farmer's weather conditions.
Step 2
Perform steps to make sure all daily activities for each role is set and ready to go and make sure to keep up with them throughout the day.
Step 3
Announce the time every 2-3 hours to help with the rotating shifts and keep people aware of the time of day/night it is while playing.
Step 4
Announce any events that are happening, discoveries that are made, or story uncovered in here when the characters fully discover it or have dug deep enough for them to know.
Step 5
Begin to announce the end of the day and ask people start turning in reports to their leaders so the founders may collect and tally results. Have them send the reports to you (the poster in this thread) either in pms or in game through leader interactions.
Step 6
End the day and post the reports. Begin the new day once ready. Not all reports must be turned in for the day to begin again. Accommodate when necessary. Start preparing for the next day and repeat these steps.
Role Specific Steps
Loner - no specific steps yet other than describe the weather (Step 1)
Cadet (Trainer) - Announce Shifts for each sub role throughout day for each camp controlled. Provide description of the overall day to give idea on what they are seeing.
Nurse - Announce shifts throughout day.
Rescues - Announce when the next shipment of rescues will appear, whether it be a daily countdown to when they will come into the camp or when they are arriving in that time frame.
Zombies - Refer to Step 1. Weather helps determine whether zombies will be out or not. If it is cool and there is moisture in the air, either in the time frame announced or at the beginning of the day, announce when it's the zombies' turn to strike or when it's the more preferred weather for them to roam.
Infected - Announce when a week (7 days) has gone by/ended so they know how much farther they are getting into the transformation.
Blacksmith - no steps so far. This may change.
Scout - Refer to Step 1. Announce any strange sightings or unusual sightings when they discover something in a pre-planned area (meaning you knew it was there at the beginning of the day and they found it) or when the next time is announced.
Farmers - Announce when a week is over and which week it is (Week #32) so they can keep track of their farm growth effectively. Use this Roll a d20 link to roll for their chances.
Hunters - Roll a d20 to decide what will happen to them that day and how many kills and chances they get. If you roll a 20, they get 1 reroll and get at least 7-10 kill chances that day.
Seekers - Similat to Scouting steps. Depending on whether they are on a mission or not, illustrate what they see around them and describe the area they are currently in. If not on a mission do not describe anything outside of where they or others are in world forum.Leader - Ask for reports and their tallies near the end of the day.
