School Rules:
1. No breaking curfew.
2. No skipping class.
3. No casting dangerous spells.
4. No telling humans about magic.
5. Boys and Girls must stay separate after hours.

12:00 PM - lunch break
1:00 PM - outdoors break.

3:00 PM - finish classes.
7:00 PM - all students must be in their dorm.
9:00 PM - all students must have their lights out.

On the Weekends, students with a good reputation are allowed to explore Thistle Forest.
Those not so trusted students have to stay on the school grounds with the teachers and animals.

Important notes:
I will have a date set up with day of the week, number of weeks, and an event when there is an event, right up here, so always check this before posting so you know what’s up.
The roleplay is starting on the weekend before first day of the new semester, so it will be the first time for first years to be at this school.
The first day will be when all the students arrive, they are all brought to the cafeteria which is also the meeting hall, and will be handed a flyer of with their curriculum, room number, and name of their room mate, after this Penelope will make an announcement.

Students arrive through taxi or a their parents drive them, animals come with the students, not before, not after.

During events like the Blood Moon Festival And a few others I will add, students must wear renaissance or medieval type clothing, to honor their ancestors.
So no glitter or sparkle dresses, they can be glossy and silky though.
(This is mainly for dresses) They do not need to have the many layers or corsets, a simple long one piece dress with a belt is acceptable, just no glitter, sparkles, sequins, or something of the sort.

It's Saturday, two days before Monday, the first week of school.
Events: students are arriving, headmistress is making an announcement.

Any student can have any meal, doesn’t matter what their preferences are.
For lunch there will always be fruits, vegetables, and breads with many different toppings available.
Breakfasts and dinners change daily.
Meals: Breakfast, eggs and bacon. Dinner, vegetable soup.
Vegetarian meals: breakfast, omelet. Dinner, vegetable soup.
Vegan meals: breakfast banana bread. Dinner, vegetable soup.

Vivian Nightthrush - female - 17 - second year - Ixie/Fire - Selenus/Frisian Mare - outside the School/Dakota Labyrinth

Vivian waved goodbye as her parents drove away. Students were clustered outside of the school saying their goodbyes and meeting new students. Some students were already taking their luggage with them to the cafeteria where they would receive the slip of paper that would tell them their dorm number and roommate. Vivian scanned the crowd and spotted Dakota whispering to some first years. Vivian rolled her eyes as she approached the small crowd with Selenus following behind her. "And she wasn't the only student to disappear in the Thistle Forest." Dakota rattled on to the group of frightened first years. "Up to no good already?" Vivian asked with a smile interrupting the story and pulling Dakota away. "Hey! I was just having some fun." Dakota laughed. "We should be helping the first years settle in not terrorize them." Vivian scolded. "Alright." Dakota sighed. Vivian lit up at this and nudged Dakota towards a first year, "Be helpful and nice!" She chimed before running off to another first year to assist them with their luggage.

She quickly stuffed two more books and a hoodie into her truck, shut it, and started to drag it down the stairs. Her mother had set her a plate for breakfast, a chocolate donut with cheesy eggs and super crispy bacon, and her papa was keeping lookout for Auntie Diane and Ferris.

“Good, now EAT. HURRY.” Her mum barked at her. “Yes, Mum.” She quickly began to shovel eggs and bacon into her mouth. “They’re here!” Her papa Shouted from the living room

“Go on hurry!” Her mum shouted at her. “Ok, ok. I’m going.” She grabbed the donut in one hand and picked up her truck in the other. Her papa came running in from the living room. “I’ll take that, you grab your backpack.” How could she forget her backpack. She ran back into the kitchen, to find her mum already had it ready.

“Listen here Sophie Foxglove. I want no letters from the Headmistress telling me about something you did ok?” Soph nodded. “I expect you to be a good student and have good grades. And one more thing,” her mother said with a edge to her voice, “I love you and will always be proud of you.” Her mother hugged her, and within a few seconds she was out the door and in Auntie Diane’s car next to Ferris.

Ferris’s POV

Ferris sat and caught up with Soph on the way to the airport.

“So what have you been up to Soph?”

“Nothing much. Having small panic attacks out of worry.”

Ferris laughed at her slightly morbid humor, which he was partly to blame for.

“Don’t worry you’ll do great at school. It’s awesome. The classes are fun, Crumpet and Blink will be able to have free run of the grounds sometimes, and you’ll make friends.”

Just as he was finishing his remark about school they arrived at the airport. “Ok, everyone out, we got to hurry to our gate.”

She tapped one of them on the back with her paw, eliciting a scream when the student saw what had tapped them. All of the students ran inside with their luggage, screaming. She sat down lazily and licked her paw, basking in the sun.

As she asked this Pterelas landed on the ground behind them back from wherever he had been and now was cawing aggressively at the newcomer. "Don't mind him he's all talk." Dakota looked back at him and stuck her tongue out teasing him. He fluffed his feathers in annoyance but quieted down a bit.

Bill had lost track of time working his way through the greenhouse after a summer away and no one but the groundskeeper to tend to it, but the slamming of car doors and shouting of students were plenty effective in reminding him of the time. He made his way across the lawn, hands stuffed in the pockets of his shorts so he wouldn't absentmindedly reach up and smear dirt across his face. Wearing a broad grin he waved to a few passing upperclassmen.

He picked up the pace when he caught sight of Avairna approaching a cluster of first years. He was too late however and sighed watching the students scamper towards the school. He spoke loudly to announce his presence to Avairna.

"With you around it's a wonder any of our students make it to the second year at all," he joked. Stopping beside her, Bill watched students milling about. "Have a good summer?"
