A ruined, skeletal landscape of shattered structures, gripped by a shade that boggles even the Light dragonflight's most studious archaeologists. In this broken city lay secrets that are too mysterious to unearth, and even the bravest dragons are given pause when approaching its haunted outskirts."
Every dragon knows of the Hewn City, located within the Sunbeam Ruins. It is depicted on every map of Sornieth, deep within the Light Flight's territories. All dragons are taught to avoid it, and even those who attempt to explore the territory quickly find themselves turning back.
But that's all about to change.
It was an average morning for you. But that was expected. You're a normal dragon of Sornieth, an innocent resident carrying on daily life.
Until today.
You wake up to find a note in your nest. It was folded neatly in front of you, too perfectly aligned to be accidental. It was like it was sent specifically for you. You reach for the note, picking it up and reading it.
Salutations, {Name} of {Clan's Name}.
You have been chosen to embark on a dangerous quest, one I cannot guarantee you will return from.
Perhaps you have heard of the Hewn City, the broken remains of a haunted town in the Sunbeam Ruins.
Mysterious activities have occurred within the city's walls, and I can tell you with complete certainty that it is in some way magical. Some rumours suggest this may even be the work of the legendary Shade.
If you agree to embark on this quest, travel to the Mirrorlight Promenade and wait for the rest of the adventurers. You will know what to do after that.
Adventure awaits you the moment you begin your quest. I can't know or say what may be lurking in the walls of the Hewn City, but know this- you could be saving all of Sornieth in this one quest.
This journey is too treacherous for my own team now. Sornieth's fate lay in your talons, adventurer. I can only guarantee one thing- nothing will ever be the same again.
If you choose to accept your quest, go forth now, and begin your journey. If you decline this fate, destroy this note immediately- I cannot risk anyone else discovering your journey, or many lives could be lost.
Go forth, adventurer. Be brave, be prepared. Nothing will ever be the same again.

So yeah. You get the general idea. Basic RP rules, no god-mod, powerplaying, Mary-Sues, etc.
There's no real form for your character, as this RP is just for us, but feel free to make your own form and fill it out if you want to.
NOTE- Please, no more than 3 dragons per person at the absolute maximum. I will be bringing in a lot of my own dragons as NPCs, but these NPCs will be temporary. I'm merely adding them to add some nice plot and etc. NPCs will most likely only be present for one or two posts before fading into the background again. If you are not okay with this, just say so.
