I'm writing up an application for a General Magic teacher right now. c:

[b]NAME[/b] - Albrecht Meteorfall [b]IMAGE[/B] - [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=8292268] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/82923/8292268_350.png[/img] [/url] [b]AGE[/B] - 80 years old [b]PERSONALITY[/b] - Albrecht feels emotions to their extremes with little in between. If he's happy, he's ECSTATIC and EXCITED. If he's angry, he's FURIOUS or ENRAGED. Students feel conflicted about him more often than not, because while his temper is a force to be reckoned with, his teaching style is energetic and he assigns very little homework. He also makes it very clear that food is ABSOLUTELY allowed to be eaten in his class, this is mostly because his Mirror metabolism demands sustenance every few hours and without snacking he'd probably be a very unpleasant teacher indeed. [b]PROFESSOR [/b]/ STUDENT / ASSISTANT [b]CLASS DESCRIPTION[/b] - Teaches General Magic and ADORES it. His clan was extremely diverse, so he knows a little bit about the magic used in every flight. Teaches basic magic and prepares the students for the upper elemental classes if they choose to take them. He likes to assign work that the students can get done in class. Albrecht finds that assigning large amounts of homework to be as much of a strain for the students as it is for him. Instead his class involves sporadic pop quizzes and lots of notes to prepares for the exams. [b]SPECIALTY[/b] - Albrecht comes from a prominent Arcane clan who works in the Observatory underneath their flight deity, the Arcanist. Due to how closely he worked to the deity, Albrecht got two things: 1) a wide array of knowledge pertaining to magic and how it works all over Sornieth and 2) poor health; due to constant exposure to the diety's overwhelming arcane magic radiating throughout the Observatory. Albrecht knows that he's not going to live as long as other members of his species, so he hates wasting time and idling about. It's very rare to stumble upon him doing nothing at all. [b]FAMILIAR[/b] - [img]http://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/3176.png[/img] Bootes the Irradiated Astronomer. Albrecht likes to refer to them as his "tasty little friend" and jokes about how delicious they look. More of a class pet than anything else. [b]OTHER[/B] - Those feathers are a mutation from being born in the Observatory. They hinder his flying abilities and tend to shed themselves all over the place. Albrecht's constantly cleaning up after himself.

If she decides to do something she puts all of her effort into it and strives to be the best at it. She is adamant about doing things the 'right' way and is very stubborn. She is not a very good at multitasking, because she cannot give something her full attention if already working on something else. She studies hard, participates in class, and often does extra reading assignments. She often receives criticism for being a 'teacher's-pet', which she tries her best to ignore. She's a little competitive, but isn't too disappointed if she loses - as long as she doesn't completely fail at something. Fili comes off as overly excited and enthusiastic most of the time. She tries to see the best side of everything and everyone. She can be a bit of a show-off too. PROFESSOR / [b]STUDENT[/b] / ASSISTANT (bold one) [b]SPECIALTY[/b] - Fili's fire magic is very good for one her age, and she comes from an old family of great magic users. Being a fire flight dragon she is near immune to the effects of heat and fire. She is especially good at crafting with her fire magic, but can also use it for offense or defense in a pinch. Her detailed and exquisite work is already very near the Flamefare standard of exceptionality. [b]FAMILIAR[/b] - None at the moment, she is still searching for a familiar. [b]OTHER[/B] - Her favorite classes are fire magic, offense magic, and culinary arts (she loves making things, even if she often burns her food). She forged her copper necklace herself - it is engraved with a variety of defensive charms and her clan's seal. Let me know if I should change anything!

These mannerisms include the tendency to "borrow" from others, being slightly insensitive, and a little sleazy. She always sounds cheerfully indifferent and has a tendency to salute anyone she says goodbye to. PROFESSOR / [b]STUDENT[/b] / ASSISTANT [b]SPECIALTY[/b] - Odessa was always fascinated by her caretakers' magical abilities; her aunt Philyra's shadow puppets, her uncle Reginald's water tricks, and especially her father Maccaulay's disappearing ability. Instead of melting into the shadows, she practiced disappearing into thin air. Fourteen years of magic training with several different teachers from her clan and the allied Clan Vogelzang, paid off, she was able to master the basics of several forms of magic and disappear into the air...for a small stretch of seconds. [b]FAMILIAR[/b] - [img]http://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/597.png[/img] Pyralis, the Blooming Strangler, was a present from her clan's patriarch on her tenth birthday. Having had lived through most of it life already, the strangler hangs lazily around her neck in A pile of sleepy coils like a second scarf. He doesn't do much to help Odessa in her studies but he can toast the occasional marshmellow she scrounges up for the two of them. [b]OTHER[/B] - Maccaulay is not her biological father, he "borrowed" her from a nocturne nest when she was still an egg. His mistake was that he thought the egg he borrowed was a rock. When it turned out to be a hatchling, he refused to give it back. Finder's keepers.
