You walk into a giant cave with lots of dragons inside. You notice that there are many smaller tunnels branching off of the main one. A female mirror dragon walks past you, cuddling a small baby coatl.
“He’s so cute, isn’t he?” She says before flying off.
You feel a tap on your shoulder and pull your eyes from the beautiful clifface. You see a pretty nocturne standing before you with a big smile.
“Greetings, I am Jewelkeeper. Welcome to the Sapphire Hatchery. Here we take care of dragons and hatchlings who are waiting to be adopted. We have many different breeds and colours of dragons to select from, so I do hope that you find what you’re looking for here. Shall I give you a tour?” She asks, and leads you into the first tunnel.
Inside, little newborn hatchlings scurry around chasing each other’s tails. off in the corner, a few are lying in a pile together sleeping.
“As you may have guessed, this is where our little hatchlings await their new owners.” Jewelkeeper states before listing off their names and pointing each one out. “Next, the adults.”
She leads you back out into the main cave and makes a sharp turn into another tunnel. Inside, you find fully grown dragons gossiping together and sharing ideas of what their new homes might be like. They all look very hopeful as you enter the room.
Again, Jewelkeeper lists off their names to you and you leave the room once she has finished. You walk over to a kind looking fae and she turns around as you approach.
“I have some things to attend to concerning this hatchery. This is Storm, who will help you if you find a dragon that you want, and show you the list of rules when she’s done.” With that, Jewelkeeper turns around, swishing her tail as she disappears into another tunnel.
“Hello, good morning! Welcome to the Sapphire Hatchery. I’m Storm. As Jewelkeeper said, I will be your guide to finding the perfect dragon for you.” Storm explains calmly as she leads you to the front desk, where Jewelkeeper is helping a fellow dragon with a baby Wildclaw. Farther off, you see Dovelight sending a hatchling through crossroads to its new home.
Storm leads you to a room with a big billboard and tons of pictures of dragons you could adopt, each one looking different and is unique.
She explains to you the functions before leading you to another cavern. This cavern is different though, it has no decoration or toys for the dragonets. It's just bare, except for one big poster. In red that poster says RULES.
“These are the rules. Please read them before adopting any of our dragons!” Storm requests, before taking walking through a narrow passageway, to help others.
