Comment (Optional): Komodo Dragons are the largest lizards in the world, endemic to a few small islands in Indonesia! Herpetologists debated whether they are truly venomous for years; the most recent consensus is that they possess relatively mild venom, but generally kill their prey with their immensely powerful jaws and sharp teeth. A komodo dragon can swallow a goat whole!!

Comment (Optional): Boa constrictors are typically found in Central and South America. True to their name, they squeeze their prey in their coils before swallowing it whole. Smaller boa constrictors tend to eat mice and small birds, but it has been reported that a fully grown snake can eat creatures as big as an ocelot!

Harpy eagles are one of the world's biggest predatory birds! These jungle-dwelling raptors can grow to be between three and four feet long, and their wingspan is just as impressive, sitting between six and seven feet. They are known for their ability to carry off monkeys that weigh fifteen pounds or more with ease--and for preying on snakes and jungle birds like macaws! Their talons are larger than a grizzly bear's and they have no known predators (I wonder why XD). They're a favorite bird of mine, for sure; I especially like their funky little feather crests!
