He's more of a new years guy, he fully intends to fire off as many fireworks as he can and toss around more confetti than should be legal lol. He's also fond of rave music so, he's pretty excited.

In our clan, the human concept of ""New Years"" doesn't really exist, as each month of RL time is about a year in dragon time, with the cycle restarting around our June. More like lunar new years have each year represent something different. Around human New Year, NotN celebrations will still be happening, but wrapping up a bit, and on the side, we'll be preparing for the Year of Cold. Not that it ever gets THAT cold in the Labyrinth, but you never know when a sudden freeze might roll through and damage plants or dragons, especially when the weather is more under Icewarden's power. Overly thought-out and practical for the prompt, I know, but what can ya do, I'm a literal type [emoji=tundra tongue size=1] There'll still be Long Nights celebrations too! Mostly focused on decorating and playing with light. Fairy lights in the trees, luminescent plants (carefully) imported, fireworks (even more carefully) set off... fun times :D

He hasn't had a day off since he decided he wanted to surprise his fellows, but he knows his work will be worth it in the end once everyone gets a look at his banquet!

Another my-dragons-don't-do-that moment haha, my dragons see a year as a passage of time rather than a calander of sorts I guess you could say? I haven't really planned it out but a year is the completion of the first NoTN to the next one and I suppose NoTN would be their new year?

He plans to have many drinks and food available to the dragons that join in the festivities. He also plans to work towards making some resolutions and goals for the new year, including working on training and leveling up some of the other dragons in the clan.

"To be the best warrior and even better father, your Majesty" Lando bowed. Xanael felt some unease in the air and smiled encouragingly. Lando smiled in return and asked:"And yours, dear Xanael? But note it I'm asking a simple female dragon, a mother and a friend, not the Queen." Xanael stumbled for a moment, and looked straight in Lando's beautiful blue eyes: "I wish to be a better mother, and a better friend. The Queen in me takes too much of my heart in soul.
