I was playing with the idea of traveling to all of the flights to hatch a primal in each flight. When I saw Rhodochrom's Around the World in Eleven Primals challenge it was the push I needed to make my world tour a reality! So here I am making it forum official and everything!
My challenge will not run quite the same as Rhodochrom's, but it's the same general idea.
Rules: wrote:
1. I must hatch all primals personally in my own nest with my own dragons. Any nest rental nests I rent from other flights do not count. Any primals that I hatch in my own nests do not count if the parents do not belong to me (nest rentals again). I can and will share those dragons here, but they do not count toward the challenge.
2. I can't move on to another flight until I've hatched at least one primal. I can choose to stay in any flight as long as I like after I have hatched at least one primal. This is a long term challenge after all.
3. I've decided that I want my order of flights to be somewhat random so that I don't save my least favorite eye colors for last making it harder to complete the challenge. Ice will be first since that is where I currently reside. Arcane will be last since it's the only other flight I've been in at the start of this challenge. The rest I threw into a list randomizer so here is the order I'll be using(emoji added once primal has been achieved):
1. Ice
2. Earth
3. Water
4. Light
5. Wind
6. Shadow
7. Nature
8. Fire
9. Lightning
10. Plague
11. Arcane
2. Earth
3. Water
4. Light
5. Wind
6. Shadow
7. Nature
8. Fire
9. Lightning
10. Plague
11. Arcane
4. I will sell all my hatchlings that I decide NOT to keep as normal, which for me is above fodder price. Any that do NOT sell or I decide not to list for whatever reason will be leveled and exalted. I can choose to keep any hatchlings I wish to, and those will not be exalted or sold unless I change my mind about keeping them later.
I have embarked on this journey on September 25th, 2022. I am currently in the Ice flight and have hatched primals in both Ice and Arcane. These primals will NOT count toward this challenge since they are before 9/25/22, but I'll still share those primals in the Primals that don't count section of this challenge, because they deserve some love too.
I do not feel the need to prove that I hatched my nests myself (like others who have embarked on this challenge do-Nothing wrong with that btw) because if I'm going to lie about it, what's the point of the challenge? And honestly, you could still send to other flights after you had the proof, if one wanted to deceive. My progens absolutely despise each other and refuse to breed in each flight to satisfy my own whims or others' curiosities. I do still have both progens at the time I'm typing this though, so you are likely to see them breed in each flight regardless, but they are VERY unlikely to breed with each other. There would have to be much dragon ale involved for that to occur!
I will be nesting as usual. I typically do put at least one pair on a nest most days, however they are not always in my own nests. I will share only the ones I hatch in my own nests (not counting nests rented by other players) unless, of course, one of my nest rental kids gets a primal (wouldn't count toward the challenge though per rule #1).
Buckle up, this should be a long and crazy ride!
