Day 1
The strange letter that had appeared a week before had been quite the topic of discussion. Some were intrigued, some cautious, but after much discussion it was decided Artemis was best suited for the task.
Though he had a knack for writing and discussion, and though he had a fondness for hatchlings, ultimately it came down to his diligence in watching over the clan, and a deeper understanding of how dragons tended to go about their day.
When the day had come, he opened the letter and let a rare smile show on his face.
Laying a neat piece of lightly decorated parchment on the wooden desk, the fae dipped his quill in an ink pot and began to write.

Dear Illithe,
I can't say I've played many pranks, but I do know some dragons who are fond of occasionally fooling around. Maybe our clan isn't the best example, as the Flight most notorious for tricksters, Shadow, is not in high abundance, but I do know of a strange Banescale who has caused a few mishaps here and there.
Thinking about it, I do remember one time when a scout of ours, Eloise, was out on an evening patrol and heard strange noises coming from one of our storage crates. Opening the lid, its contents had been replaced by an absurd amount of Mallard Ducks. Eloise was a bit shaken after they all simultaneously flew out, quacking so loudly it had alerted quite a few nearby dragons. The culrpit was identified by a loose quill discarded nearby.
Hopefully that little story was amusing enough; it was nice writing to you Illithe!
Sincerely,
Artemis
