Did he go invisible again?” Sands whispered to Vaille. “How would I know?” Vaille hissed glancing around nervously as if Izak was going to pop out of a wall and steal his eyeballs or something. “Guys you know I can hear everything you’re saying?” Izak shrill voice rang around the cave. “Creepy…” Vaille muttered. In front of them Slimy was creeping along behind Aurus, who was pestering what apppeared to be thing air with her questions.

“Are you a ghost? Why can’t other people see you? Hello? Why are you ignoring me? How do you guys know each other?” She bounded around as she continued endlessly asking him things. Apparently Izak wasn’t doing a very good job of answering because it only lewd to more questions. “So are you a ghost? Why do you stay in the tunnels? Do you stay in the tunnels? How do you know the way? Are the tunnels alive? How-“
Slimette laughed -or made a weird noise that resembled laughter- “Come on, you’re questions will be answered once we get there.” Aurus whipped her head around so fast Vaille almost fell over. “Get where? Are we going somewhere? Where are going? When will we get there? Is it a secret? Why aren’t you telling me? What’s the place we’re going to? Why are we going? Slimy? Slimy? Slimy? Slimy? Slimy? When are we getting there? Slimy!” Aurus asked fanatically while poking her leg. “Where are we going? Where are we going? Where are we going? Where are we going?”

Slimette watched from further away as her friends started a small fire and roasted some food on it, while Izak was “scouting the area” as he said. It was actually quite obvious he simply didn’t know what he was doing, but no one said it out loud. He can read minds anyways. Just then his transparent head popped through the ceiling.

“hey so still no luck finding a exit. But there’s this whole den of weird bear creatures right above us just letting you know. So. Yeah. Don’t go up there.” He popped back through the ceiling and out of sight. Aurus turned around to look at them before returning to her food. The endless questions had made her tired. Slimette crawled over to join the others. Aurus and Arnold shuffled over to give her a spot next to them but Sands and Vaille seemed preoccupied with their own conversation.

The food in these caves was weird. “No.” Slimy answered. “So… you hungry?” Aurus attempted to make a conversation but when Slimy didn’t respond she went back to picking at her meal. “So. Izak. Sure is something. You know him?” Slimy didn’t respond to that either. Eventually Aurus gave up on the questions too and went to join Sands and Vaille. Arnold gave her a apologetic croak before going to join them. Slimy didn’t mind. She preferred it alone anyways.
