Slimette watched as Sands and Vaille examined the garden and the strange ooze that was killing it. She didn’t know entirely what it was. But she had a idea. “Do you think it’s some kind of animal poison?” Sands asked reaching his claw towards it. Slimette was going to tell him not to touch it when Vaille quickly pulled Sand’s hand away. “I don’t think we should touch it until we know what it is Sands.” He said eyeing the puddle suspiciously. There was a sizzling sound as the puddle grew just a tiny bit closer to them. Arnold croaked nervously. “Stay away from it.” Slimette hissed as Sands and Vaille quickly backed away. “Huh. That’s weird. We should go check in on Aurus. Poor kids still in the tunnels by herself.” Vaille picked up his watering can and made towards the cave, Sands and Slimette following.

Aurus didn’t understand how it got so dark, so quickly, she wasn’t even that far from the entrance and there was enough glowing mushrooms around her to see by, but just as she was going to explore a sudden darkness covered her. She stopped dead in her tracks as a strange hissing sound came from all around her. Out of the darkness she saw a almost glowing, but slightly transparent creature which appeared almost like a coatl, but it’s wings were… different? It flew though the cave while hardly flapping them. [i]how is he doing that?[/i] she thought. [i] there isn’t even a slight breeze down here[/i] suddenly the glowing creature locked it’s eyes with hers and dived straight down towards her. Aurus covered her face with her arms to protect her from the blow but it never came. A sudden chill passed over her and the creature flew right through her, and disappeared into nothing. The darkness suddenly went away and the greenish blue glow of the mushrooms filled the cave again. Aurus quickly hurried back closer to the entrance as she heard the voices of her friends looking for her.

Sands, Slimette and Vaille were in the woodland path for 20 rounds! Vaille leveled up to 4 and Sands and Slimy got up to 5! Sands got a acuity fragment (I didn’t have a nature one on me atm) and Slimy got a Zephyr might fragment, and Vaille got Clobber. 2 of them having clobber and Sands having Aid made surviving a lot easier :)
All manner of creatures can hide in this tall grass.

“It’s so cute!” Sands said petting the new hedgehog that he had found in the bushes earlier that day. “Awww she’s smiling at you!” Vaille cooed as the creature snuffled around looking terribly confused on how it ended up in a tunnel. “What will her name be?” Slimette asked peering at it curiously. Sands paused for a bit, thinking. “Puff.” He said finally. “That’s a good name.” Slimette said nodding in approval. “Hello puff!” Aurus said, joining the group. “She is very cute!”

“Thanks!” Sands said. “Do you want to pet her?” Just as he said there there was a loud rumble. Puff scrambled off as fast as she could but no one noticed. The ground began to shake, and the dragons were being thrown around. “What’s happening?!” Vaille yelled through the falling rock. “Everyone get to the surfa-“ Sands stopped mid sentence as he saw rocks covering the exit to the tunnels. A horrible realisation seemed to hit all of them at the same time. The tunnels were changing. “Sands? What do we do?!” Aurus cried, trying to dodge the rocks, but it was hard, being her size. Sands looked around frantically. “Ummmm TRY NOT TO DIE!!” everyone started screaming and running in random directions and bumping into each other in the dark. Aurus heard her name being called a few times and she crashed into several walls and sent more rocks falling in her. “Guys? Sands? Vaille? Slimy?” She could hear them scrambling around and yelling around her, but it was pitch black. The tunnels suddenly stopped shifting and everyone was trapped in darkness. Suddenly Aurus saw a soft glow coming from around the corner. “Guys look!” She said, pointing. “Look at what?” Sands scoffed. “It’s pitch black.”
Aurus paused. What does he mean? The glow got brighter and the same fairy-like creature she had encountered yesterday came into view. “Who- who are you?” Aurus stammered as he got closer. Looking closer at him she saw he was shaped a lot like a coatl, but not exactly. His wings were shaped more like, well, a fairy, and he almost seemed to be disintegrating, but not really, as he flew, leaving trails of purple mist.

“Who are you?” She repeated, backing away. “What do you mean? It’s us!” Vaille piped up. So none of them could see this creature. Except Slimette, who Aurus realised, was looking directly at the creature. Actually she looked very angry. The creature turned to Slimette. “Well well well… look who it is. Fancy finding you here Rosary? And what happened to you’re scales? You’re made of slime now? When did that happen?” His voice was high pitched and shrill. Slimette frowned. “At least I have a physical form and I’m not trapped to wander aimlessly in some tunnels, [i]Izak[/i]”She snapped back. “Well you kind of are, since you can’t get outside.” The creature laughed. It rang around the tunnels echoing off the walls. “Ummmm Slimy? Who are you talking to?” Vaille asked. “I think they finally snapped.” Sands giggled. Aurus had a lot of questions. [i]who is this guy? Why can’t Sands and Vaille see him? How does he know Slimy? What happened to her? wHAT IS GOING ON?[/i] the creature turned to her. “I’ll explain later.” He flicked his tail at her in a dismissive way. “ ‘slimy’ and I have a lot of catching up to do.” [i]DID HE JUST READ MY MIND?[/i] Aurus was going to explode. Izak laughed. He seemed to find everyone panicking very amusing. “Well first we should probably get you guys out of the tunnels. If I can figure out where to go. They don’t usually rearrange this often I swear- oh” he realised Sands and Vaille couldn’t see him. Aurus gasped. He seemed to almost solidify in front of her eyes, instead of being half see through like some sort of ghost, and he started glowing brighter, so bright they might as well use him as a torch. “WHOA OKAY WHO IS THAT? WHO THE HECK IS THAT?” Sands jumped back in horror and awe. Vaille just stood there and gawked. “What….?”
Slimette- Rosary? No Slimette sounds more fitting- looked at them. “This is Izak.” She said. “Oh they don’t know me? Did you tell them nothing? Typical Rose.” He said patting her head. “Rose?” Sands asked. “Who’s Rose? Do you and Slimy know each other? Wait is Slimy- is she Rose?” “Well get to that later Mr Detective!” Izak laughed. “Wow you sure do have a lot of questions! Well, come on everyone, if you want to get out of here then follow me!” And with that he flew down the tunnels, his voice echoeing down the tunnels.

Sands level 6, Vaille level 5, and Aurus is level 4 now. Aurus and Vaille both got elemental might fragments, and Aurus also got clobber. (I’m just giving all the physical fighters clobber so that beastclans don’t get turns to attack lol)
Coatls with access to mussels will spend a leisurely day harvesting and cracking the spoils on their tummies. It's adorable- ...unless you're a mollusc.
