Just one nest today. Fodder Pair 14: Red vs. Blue gave me two F wildclaw kids (what is this sex ratio [i]ahhhhhh[/i]). Older sister has Barney vibes. Keeping the second, she is beautiful. A couple hatches to report! Pair 16: Clever Girl did pretty much what I expected - 4 trippy fade/blend/smoke. Need to keep the M wildclaw for sure to balance the funky sex ratio, also reserving the gloomy coatl just in case. My hand slipped and I accidentally unlocked my fifth nest OOPS. Last pair is nesting 2 eggs. Pair 1: Guardians Guaranteed has a fairly narrow range but it's sort of stormy and fun.

So exciting!! Can't believe we're almost on to the second gen already!!

Okay! First of all, the last progenitor pair's nest hatched today. Pair 1: Guardians Guaranteed did pretty well for themselves. The kids are sort of edgy and matchy, I like them. I ended up using the first one when I made the next gen pairs. They're all updated in the post on the first page. My primary objective for these pairs was to maintain breed rarity; I wasn't paying much attention to gene rarity or color. I'm hoping to breed out mirrors, pearlcatchers and obelisks, and reduce the number of plentiful breeds in the mix overall (not that I'd be upset if I got another guardian...). I've decided to get the rare pairs nesting first for this round, which means I need to wait until the rare pairs are RTB before I can start any nests.
