Got the first hatchlings from my Sunshine Mulberry pair. Rather ugly imo.

So many lovely hatchlings coming from this project! I love it. <3 My first nest can be laid in about 10 days. XD Can't wait!

So, I have a question. I saw this thread and liked the idea, but I wanted to take it a step further and got some double and XYZ pairs that still cover half the color wheel in each slot. Would it be okay to post them here, or would you prefer the thread be for triples only? I don't mind either way because I'll still be breeding my pairs and sticking their hatchlings on the AH regardless.
I realize adding my pairs here may require you to make a new section on the first page for non-triple pairs (maybe general "double" and "XYZ" headings for pairs, or even just a "non-triple pairs"?), so if that's too much trouble I completely understand.

@WanderingTurtle
Well, the idea for the triples was mostly so that dragons would look "complete", even if it wasn't a color the player was innately fond of. And triples are something that everyone wants to breed for, and it's not very random, and are part of the reason the AH was getting boring before the eyes made it worse. Hah.
But go right ahead and create your pool with them, anything that makes more interesting dragons I'm game for. :)
@HSoup They're... special, but it's really cool how matchy they are on secondary/terts. They almost look like a cut crystal sort of subspecies if permababied.

@Amut - I'm always surprised when these pairs pop out dragons with similar color schemes with possibilities so wide.

To be honest, I didn't randomly pick my starting dragons for each pair because I figured it would be tricky enough to find appropriately-colored mates for them, so I ended up with dragons I don't mind hanging around. (My process involved trawling the AH for interesting-looking dragons, collecting about a dozen possibilities at once in separate browser tabs, then using Dragon Search to check for possible mates in active lairs that looked like they might be fodder. Rinse and repeat as needed.) So, uh, I didn't exactly follow that part of the rule either, but there was still quite a bit of chance involved based on who I could likely get a mate for. :P
Assuming that's not a problem though, I'll make my reserve post whenever I have time, hopefully tomorrow. For now I'll just drop a link to the tab where the pairs are for anyone curious. (They're the non-veilspun pairs, with links to offspring color ranges in their bios.)

Staerdolex and Endriz hatched their first nest today! The clashing Poison/Toxin really sells the "ugly but adorable fodder" look.

So I guess this pairing is blessed. Their second hatchling doesn't look half bad either...
