Solai is the slow roll of the sea against the shore, the darkness beneath the curl of the wave. She grazes on seaweed and algae left behind by the tide, scrapes shellfish from the rocks and crunches them between her strong teeth, savoring the salty sweet meat within. (She looks like a tundra. She is not a tundra.) Her treachery is innocent, her curiosity lethal to the unwise. She can be loved but never tamed.

Well, RNG has definitely decided that it's time to detail the Wavechildren, what with Sirhya a few posts back and now his mate, Solai. Good timing, too, considering that their first child's nest just hatched today.
