[nextcol][color=#441817][size=2]By the time Cyrso took the Necromantic Trials, they had already traveled much of the Scarred Wasteland, as well as the neighboring regions of Sornieth. They had established connections with several clans in the Tangled Wood, Dragonhome, the Windswept Plateau, and the Starfall Isles. While their main goal was to become familiar with histories and traditions of the clans surrounding their homeland, they also found themselves competent in learning Magic of diverse types and elements. They found the knowledge and experience gained invaluable in navigating not only the Trials themselves, but also the politics of Necromantic Society. Their first assignment was to a rising Necromancer named Bryrdym, whose powerful Necromantic abilities, arrogance, and zealous adherence to his own ideals had a tendency to get him into difficult situations. His following success is somewhat attributed to Cyrso’s unseen guidance, helping him to make necessary motions to secure his position within the Council and even helping him to better plan maneuvers outside the Scarred Wasteland to spread the Plaguemother’s influence. After Bryrdym renounced his position on the Necromantic Council unexpectedly, Cyrso was reassigned multiple times. Many thought them ill-suited to their position of Necroservus, and Cyrso seemed not to care much about conforming to these expectations. With their chances running out, Yllyrth took a chance on assigning them to Nypha, a Shade-touched Necromancer in need of an overseer. As Nypha flourished under their care, Yllyrth used her considerable influence to give Cyrso a place in the Necromantic Council, which was unheard of for a Necroservus at that time. Cyrso has since risen quickly in rank, much to the displeasure of those Necromancers who see this as an affront to their given power and authority. Their knowledge, insights, and connections have many times proved useful to the Council, and their dedication to the Plaguemother’s wishes is widely recognized. They endeavor to elevate the position of other Necroservi, and frequently spend their spare time mentoring any who wish to learn from them. They have developed an air of poise and deference in dealing with those who would cause them difficulty, though this veil is quickly dropped outside of these interactions. He strives to contact another plane of existence through the Forbidden Portal and believes that the diseases that he has mastered on Sornith have inoculated him against any dangers that his experiments pose. Any colleague that suggests that he may actually be contacting the Shade will quickly find themselves at the top of his enemy list. Seneca has little respect for the weak-willed and indecisive. He has no qualms getting his talons dirty and carries out his duties as instructed by the Council with pleasure - so long as those orders don't interfere with his research. He is never seen without his off putting helm, claiming that the device both protects him from foreign influence and also channels his magic. The fact that he is terribly ashamed of his darkened eyes goes without mention. Seneca believes there is a hidden talent in Wraiths just waiting to be unlocked. This belief, however, does not spare Lethe from his scorn and sharp tongue. Why did she help him, despite she prefer not to risk her life? Not out of compassion. She doesn't even feel compassion, as she claims that everyone ought to play their role and find the pain a chance to become stronger. However, she thought that Mother's Blessing should better not be wielded by dragon who can't control it and spreads infection coincidentally. Secondly, she believed that the coatl would better serve Plaguelings if won't get defeated by contagion. Last (and least), she wanted someone to owe her a favor. Among all the ghouls Ruina has already neutralized, no one was as grateful as Vir.
