I was talking with this guy, Palak, and I told him about one of my past husbands. Of course, he was concerned (because we’re dating and all) so I told him that he died. Palak kind of gasped and started comforting me. I was going to tell him that it’s okay, and I’m over it, but his concern made me realize that I should’ve been more caring. A big wave of guilt crashed into me, and I started bawling as he hugged me. I don’t want anyone else to die because of me. I don’t want Palak to die. I’m so sorry...
