[morphology=815859] I kept her as a [b]pearlcatcher[/b] because I think that it’s the best breed to show off her colors. I also kept [b]iridescent[/b], as it is very shimmery and light-like. Her second gene is [b]butterfly[/b], as I feel like it goes with the light theme and it goes with iridescent. Her last gene is [b]capsule[/b], as it paired well with iridescent and it has a bright and shimmery gradient. The Little Herald of the Sun, who had to deal with the sun so often that his skin faded in places. And the wings look like the rays of the sun are breaking through them. Whereas the filigree ornament emphasizes her role. I really wanted to keep her a pearlcatcher, but when I saw the lovely translucent effect that Marbled had on her wings as a Snapper, I almost made her one. The problem was I couldn’t find a primary I liked with it. So I looked at every secondary and lo and behold, Saturn matched. But then it looked awful with the iridescent. The iridescent seemed too cool for a Light dragon, so I warmed it up with the subtle shades of Poison. I wanted to make her a librarian, which in my clan would mean staying in rather dark caves most of the time, so I gave her Firefly to help scatter Light as she moves through the darkness. She is a statue, carefully crafted of metal (hence metallic), with wings resembling stained glass (bee). At first glance, there is little that might distinguish her from a mundane creation, but faintly glimmering across the metallic surface of her body are runes (well... duh, runes) only a shade or so off from the color of most of her body. I love the female pearlcatcher pose for a statue-esque creature as well, honestly, and the concept of their pearl plays well with a living statue that might be more for information storage and observation rather than being a guard or soldier in times of peril.[/columns]

I love the transparency of bee, and stained adds a softness that I absolutely adore ^^ turned her into a spiral because I don't have to many of them in my lair, despite the fact that they're one of my favorite breeds[/center]

Secondary: Bee
The way it looks like light shining through coloured glass felt perfect, and I love the way you can see her tail through the wing.

Tertiary: Glowtail
First time I've scried Glowtail and loved it, the way the golden colour fades in gives another feeling of shining light.

Primary: Iridescent
I decided not to change it, because the other primarie I testeds didn't play well with Glowtail, or felt to busy for Bee, or both. The name of the gene, and the beautiful play of colours made me decide to stop looking for something else.
If its not broken, don't fix it ^^

I decided on Mirror for breed because of their simple, catlike elegance, also the name of the breed felt like it fitted her aesthetic, light reflecting and creating beautiful golden colours.

They remind me of clouds being illuminated by the sun as it sets or rises. I love how the Glowtail looks bright and happy and I think it harmonizes very well with the other colours and the belly of the Wildclaw. Wildclaws to me, look like such soft babys. They have those big claws but they're huge softies. That felt like it went really well with the soft, bright colours.

I considered how she would fit into my lair if she chose to join me. I decided that she would probably join the Lair Expansion Force and when I scried, I aimed for a lantern effect as a large part of my lair is underground. [br] [columns][morphology=815914][nextcol][size=4]This wonderful Wildclaw is part of the lair expansion team. Her strong hind legs and upright posture allow her to take off from a standing start, which is invaluable when she's carrying materials to and from her building sites. [br][br] Her [b]Crystal[/b] primary gives her tough skin that's hard to damage, which is ideal for working in the underground regions of the lair. She is capable of hauling great loads without injury and it also has the benefit of refracting light, allowing her to see more easily in the darkness. [br][br] Her [b]Bee[/b] wings allow her to lift heavy weights, much like honeybees. They are also praised for their beauty throughout the lair. Her colleagues appreciate it when she brings them the stone they need to repair the outer areas of the ruins.[/size][/columns] [br] Her [b]Contour[/b] gives her that little flash of something special. Many male dragons find that she catches their eye as she flies past in the course of her duties. She could have her pick of suitors, but she's currently dedicated to making sure everyone has somewhere warm and dry to sleep. Stained takes the peachiness out to make her look like a glowing fire, instead of a fruit. Jupiter and Striation enhance that with the illusion of movement. I chose a nocturne to give the impression of a rising sun, as she is soaring upwards.
