There was a constant stream of movement among the ships docked there with passenger ships coming in from all across Sorienth bringing in more dragons, trade ships that have their wares arranged for the browsing of the festival attendants, and pleasure crafts lightly drifting along to witness a personal view of the joyous celebration. Off the side of the main concourse of the festival, a different kind of ship has taken dock. A swift looking vessel with her sails furled to the mast and much of the crew out enjoying the festival. Instead of crates of goods and materials, this ship was surrounded by tables and tables of parchment. Dragons of all different Flights would sit down and being writing. Once they were finished, one of the ship's crew would careful store their scroll within a case and take it aboard deck to be stored. In the middle of the fortress of paper, lounged a Gaoler. Her eyes shown bright with the power of the Wind Flight. Occasionally, she would stop one of the Judges from taking a story below decks and instead spend her time reading all of the wonderful stories written by the dragons of Sornieth. Whenever she was not engrossed by whatever tale was woven in the tales before her, she made sure to greet each and every author as they approached the tables. Yet, it wasn't uncommon for a dragon to wonder over and looked around at the paper, inkwells, and quills a tab bit confused. "Greetings! Welcome to the Mistral Jamboree Story Contest!
