HEY GUYS!
I thought of something fun today while sipping on some soup and thinking about dragon lore. A lot of people have beautiful bios, lore, art, etc. And to help them I thought of a daily activity to help not only flesh out our Vow of Poverty dragons' lore more, but to fuel more interaction between them as well! Maybe your dragon and someone else's secretly have a lot in common?
So without further ado, here is the first...
Question Of The Day!
What are your dragon(s)'s favorite food? (Can exist on FR - or in real life. I.E. the answer could be a plant or animal that exists on FR - or some real life food, like soup!)

Honek doesn't waste time on the question, he already knows his answer. "Meat, on the bone, seared over the fire with only a little salt. Or slow cooked until the marrow becomes like gelatin. That's the good stuff. Fills you right up. Also - meaty fish cooked the same way. Like tuna or salmon."

Sal thinks for a moment. "Embarrassingly, sweets. I've made more scones than I can count since discovering I've a knack for baking. Put a bit of clotted cream and some strawberry jam on top...serve with some tea...that's a perfect breakfast. But I also like cake, tarts, fruit salads, you name it."

After another unfulfilling day of fighting in the Arena, Dreamer and LittlePrincess find a surprise waiting for them in the stands. Courier Heather is watching them. Beside her is Priestess Mystic, one of their clan's most revered warriors; their Mire Flyer: responsible for training dragons they send into the Gladekeeper's service. Both young dragons bow respectfully.
Heather explains that after Mystic spent all day training exalts, she met Heather along the way home and decided to accompany her to check up on Dreamer and LittlePrincess.
Mystic's gruff assessment that they're at least competent enough not to trip over their own feet is as close to praise as she gets. She even grunts approvingly when they tell her their plans to collect more Battlestones before proceeding. Satisfied, she leaves. Just like that.
Heather chuckles at their bewildered stares. She reminds them that the Greenskeeper Gathering is next week so she has a lot of exalts to train so Nature will hold Dominance for their festival. Heather also encourages them to come and visit home during the festival - they're allowed to take a break.
LittlePrincess ponders things when he curls up on his side of their dwelling after wishing Dreamer a good night. So far, he has only fought for Dreamer to fulfil the Vow. But what happens when the quest is complete?

Yep, my clan's Priestess is also the Mire Flyer. If she's gonna exalt a bunch of dragons, they better know how to fight, and what better way than to train them herself.
Also, slightly awkwardly, her mate is also called Dreamer.

Dreamer nods eagerly. "Surely he'll make some for the festival, I can't wait!"

Day Fourteen- Maia
It has been two weeks already, and the team is making good, but slow progress in the coliseum. They aim to reach level 20 by the time it's been three weeks, and the venues they're in aren't going to get them there. Heather decides that it's time to move on to Redrock Cove.
The Cove is simply stunning, and Maia spends time running through the waves and playing in the sand between battles. Not wanting to stop, she dreads the moments when monsters surface from the ocean, especially the enormous Spiney Whales and Deeprealm Hunters. They take a lot of effort to fight, and are seldom defeated. Verrazano doesn't say much, but seems to be enjoying himself. Heather is busy writing a letter to Cloudberry.
She later announces that next week, during the Greenskeeper Gathering, the team will be going home. It is time for the first annual Bright Hollow games, a celebration of their clan. After hearing a bit about what Cobalt and Cloudberry have planned, Maia is bouncing up and down with excitement. Suddenly, the vow is forgotten, and she simply feels lucky to be a part of the Bright Willow clan during this momentous occasion- soon, the clan will be a year old.

Day Fourteen- Verrazano
Verrazano woke up far too early today, due to another one of Twister's pranks. This put him in a bit of a grumpy mood, but both the new venue and Heather's news healed the scars of that morning. The Cove is truly gorgeous, and Verrazano never wants to leave. Alas, they will have to as they reach higher levels, but for now, he can just enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Maia also seems to be having the time of her life, constructing sand castles and frolicking in the waves. He watches her as a particularly large wave knocks her over, and chuckles. Then he notices something shiny lying in the sand.
Intrigued, Verrazano walks over and picks it up. The black stone has been tumbled smooth by the waves, and glistens, still wet with seawater. A mysterious rune has been carved into its surface, and it glows with strange, teal light. Heather informs him that he's found a Traveler's Runestone, and that it was likely left behind by a Spiney Whale. There are similar stones found here with purple runes on them, from Deeprealm Hunters. Verrazano smiles, looking at the runestone. What a spectacular find.

Available Battlestones:
There are none in Redrock Cove, either. On another note, you know when every time you start in a venue with an okay team, you get a boss, but then you have your good team in that same venue, and you can grind for HOURS and still not get a boss? That was Redrock Cove today in a nutshell. 50% of the time I take the Vow team there, the first battle is a Spiney Whale. What even, coli. What even.

Heather loves any kind of plants, being a Tundra, but she has a soft spot for watermelons and likes eating them with her friends, even in the dead of Winter.
[item=watermelon]
Maia and Verrazano are both insect-eaters, but with wildly different preferences. Maia likes to hunt for creepy crawlies that live in the dirt and under rocks, beetles especially. Her favorite, however, would likely be darkwood titans... but she also likes frostbite beetles... oh goodness, it's hard for her to decide! I suppose her and Dreamer have that in common!
[item=darkwood titan] [item=frostbite beetle]
Verrazano on the other hand, or should I say talon, prefers chasing after anything that flies. His absolute favorite are dragonflies, and unlike Maia, he has no trouble choosing.

What even.

Question Of The Day!
What are your dragon(s)'s favorite food? (Can exist on FR - or in real life. I.E. the answer could be a plant or animal that exists on FR - or some real life food, like soup!)
Heather loves any kind of plants, being a Tundra, but she has a soft spot for watermelons and likes eating them with her friends, even in the dead of Winter.
Watermelon
Plant
Though it has a land-growing cousin, this melon is cultivated exclusively in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

Darkwood Titan
Insect
Often mistaken for small boulders, most dragons overlook the Darkwood Titan as a food source. Manage to bring one home, however, and you may feed a nest of hatchlings for days.

Frostbite Beetle
Insect
As this beetle is able to consume frozen plants with ease, its bite can be painful even to dragons.

Verrazano on the other hand, or should I say talon, prefers chasing after anything that flies. His absolute favorite are dragonflies, and unlike Maia, he has no trouble choosing.
