This one is highly inspired by [b][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2761712]Mother Knows Best - A 100 Hatchling story[/url][/b]by dransnake — Nightfall is one of the hatchlings from their challenge! You should definitely check it out, because the storytelling is great!! Nightfall wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps, and have a hundred hatchlings of her own. She is very maternal and loves to spend time keeping company with both traveling dragons who are seeing the world and dragons who are bound to service to the dragon gods. The rules of this challenge are simple - each nest will have a different father, and all (but one) of the hatchlings will be sent out to new owners found in the dragon swap threads — or to you, dear reader, if you wish to adopt one! [center][b]Nest One: Ferris[/b] [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=45660503] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/456606/45660503_350.png[/img] [/url] [/center] Travelling artisan Ferris arrives on the winds, and Nightfall knows he is soon to leave the same way. He proves to be a good friend and companion, for the short time he is with the clan. Ferris gathers up his things, preparing to set off on another adventure. Before he goes, though, he makes one last stop to say goodbye to Nightfall and the hatchlings. He finds his friend buried in a fluffy pile of four Tundra babies, each one with stripes like their dad. “I almost hate to leave them,” he says, but Nightfall smiles gently. “You’re made for adventures, Ferris,” she reminds him. “And these little ones are going to take after you that way, I just know it! Come back and visit us any time you like.” She nuzzles him, slips a flower of Lucky Star plant behind his ear, and waves goodbye. [center] [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=56722900] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/567230/56722900_350.png[/img] [/url][/center] [b]Aleda[/b] is shy and sweet and loves spending time with her mother and the other hatchlings, not just her siblings, but also the other little ones in the nesting grounds. When it’s time for the others to leave the nest, Aleda asks quietly to stay and help her mother. [i]I think it is my purpose to guard the hatchlings[/i], she says, and Nightfall does not argue with that. He especially loves hunting glowshrooms with his friends! She loves finding scraps of things in the clan’s hoard and trying to turn them into treasures. [center][url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=56722903] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/567230/56722903_350.png[/img] [/url][/center] [b]Dhalia[/b]’s favorite things are flying and helping gather plants for her clan mates. Lately, she has been part of a party going to Arcane territory in search of elusive pretty pink mums.

So freaking proud of my baby Nightfall- She's all grown up and having babies of her own! Also me too, Dhalia, me too. do pretty pink mums exist

@dransnake - thank you! I fell in love with her and decided she needed major spoiling [emoji=heart size=1] Dhalia has not found any mums. She thinks they’re mythical. @hyzenthlaay - added you to the list! There will be more hatchlings in a few days! I’m having a ton on fun with this so far, writing a little lore makes this so much more satisfying than my other Hundred Hatchling challenge.
