The coatl and male fae responded in tandem. "She did." Artemis was just smiling. "Its from a super cool book I found in Ms. Agnes's library!"

Ray the coatl smiled as she looked over the group before her. "We honestly have quiet the variety of people here. Perhaps a little menagerie of our own."

Across the camp, the members of the Magical Menagerie were helping other guards with things, ranging from setting up a perimeter, to making sure everyone was hydrated in the wet marshy heat.

While thinking about why that name sounds familiar Coral exclaims out loud "Oh yes Pich has read that book to the clan hatchlings before! He would appreciate the name you chose for your friend." Looking in the same direction as Ray, Coral sees that some of her clan mates have arrived and are helping out with setting up a perimeter and schedule for guard shifts. A male mirror wearing a white wolf pelt spots Coral and beckons her over to join the rest of their clan mates. She addresses the two faes and coatl and says "It was really nice meeting you all but that is my superior and some guards from my clan so I should probably go report my findings. Guard duty dragons have arrived to provide relief. Corbin (level 20), is more than the clan leader, he knows how to throw a punch. "Would you look at that." she patted its back fin, "this one is well kept, just don't feed 'em too much processed food, bad for teeth."

Artemis smiled at Qualia noticing her toridae. "Thank you! I actually didn't know that. Hmmm... Is raw or cooked better for him? I know that raw is what he naturally eats, but I also am a bit worried of him catching something if he eats some bad meat." If Qualia looked closely, she would be able to see that Prince Humperdink was actually rather old for a toridae, and hence wasn't as volatile as the younger ones. This was probably the reason why he tolerated the small energetic fae.

"Just raw meat is fine," Qualia continued to check on it, "toridae's natural habitats are heckin' dirty, they can eat rotten meat fine. If they got sick, it's usually because the animal 's poisonous."

Time passed as they talk, it seems like Qualia kept moving into shady places, as if she was avoiding the harsh sunlight.

Ray would get out an extra banner from her cart that she was using for straps, and offer it to Qualia for extra shade. Artemis wanted to keep talking with the Tundra, fascinated by just how much she knew. She was interested in all sorts of animals, and mentioned she wanted to be a beastmaster. She wanted to work with them, and develop a bond with them. She also mentioned she tried to learn from any friendly members of beastclans she met.
