Biography

Kaleyard is a researcher in Asphodel Foundation. His current research subject is how the mind is connected to the body. As an alchemist and necromancer, he is an expert in blowing life into piles of organic matters. His job is to have a better understanding to the mechanism behind it. Outside his work time, he also sells plushies as a hobby.

Kaleyard was Victor’s lowerclassman in the Observatory. Back then he was a Coatl instead of an Obelisk. The two didn’t have much of an interaction until the fight between them over the hatchling Victor abandoned. Due to Victor setting back one year, they graduated at the same time. They didn’t see each other until much later.

After graduation, Kaleyard went to Forbidden Portal to research the strange creatures there. He was reported missing shortly after. Years after, an Obelisk who had the same genetic composition as the missing Coatl claimed to be him. This new Kaleyard had all the missing one’s memories prior to his disappearance, except he remembered himself to be an Obelisk since birth, which was impossible.

Other than that, Kaleyard’s body also exhibits some strange qualities. One, he now has plant-like growth all over his body that are actually made of flesh. Two, his regeneration ability became so powerful that he is borderline immortal. Nobody knows if this Kaleyard is the same one who went missing, let along if he is a dragon at all.

Aeshna learned the news of the immortal dragon and recruited him through Etaoin. Kaleyard accepted the new job, but was displeased to see Victor also working there. Him and Victor now have a bitter rivalry, but otherwise coexist with each other.
