I tried this before but the first baby was multigaze.
The dragons are nesting currently, so let's see if I get my first primal and die!

[*]find your starter a mate on the AH that's one step above them in all rarities. for example, find a common breed with common genes. [*]nest your two dragons. choose the heir who's inherited the most upgrades. for example, if you have two eggs from the first nest and one is all basic while the other has one gene, choose the one gene derg as your heir. include breed as a factor that is equal to genes. if all eggs are triple basic but one derg is a common breed, choose them! [*]for your heir, choose a mate whose genes and breed are one level above them in all rarities once again. for example, if your heir only inherited a common primary gene, you would find them a common breed, secondary and tert with an uncommon primary. [*]continue until you have a rare breed with all rare genes! Since I like breeding and breeding challenges, but lack the patience needed for EPBG, I decided to give this version a go. Last night, I hatched Gen 2 of my [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2663502]Legacy Challenge[/url] so I counted that as Gen 2 of this challenge and wound up with Zinnia. She's a Fae with Basic/Edged/Underbelly so I've bought a male Spiral with Falcon/Noxtide/Ghost to be her mate. 15 days to go! Oct 31 - They're now on a nest of 3 eggs that's due to hatch on Nov 5. Here's to hoping we get some upgrades! Nov 5 - Unfortunately, the only upgrade was the Tertiary gene. I must be having some bad luck, because I hatched my Legacy Challenge nest and only got a tertiary upgrade. I've chosen the second hatchling just because of her soft, pastel colors. She's a Fae with Basic/Edged/Ghost so I've chosen a male Ridgeback with Savannah/Hex/Runes to be her mate. 15 days to go! Nov 20 - Instead of the same ol’ Lightning eyes, this next generation is going to have Arcane eyes! I thought a new eye color might make a nice change and Arcane suits their colors. Nov 26 - Two of the hatchlings only got a gene upgrade, one only got a Secondary upgrade, and the fourth got no upgrades but is somehow XYX. I've chosen the female Ridgeback with Basic/Edged/Ghost and bought her a male Skydancer with Savannah/Rosette/Capsule. Jan 1 - I sent them off to an Arcane nest and they've just returned with two hatchlings. Both of them are males with a secondary upgrade so the heir is a male Ridgeback with Basic/Rosette/Ghost and their mate is a female Skydancer with Savannah/Trail/Capsule. Jan 21 - Yes! I finally got rid of the Basic primary! The heir, Hermes, got a breed and primary gene upgrade, the first sibling got a breed upgrade, and the second sibling got a secondary gene upgrade. [/center]
