Familiars bond with your clan as a whole, not individual dragons, so you cannot equip more than one of any familiar to your lair. For example, if you have a Sakura Owl on one dragon, you cannot equip another Sakural Owl to a different dragon, even if you have more than one of the familiar in your hoard.
