I wish there was a bank feature in FR. It would make saving money so much easier. But without one, how do you save money? Or do you not save it at all?

I DON'T.
I'm sure people actually manage... a weekly budget or something like that, but right now I just keep myself a cushion of something like 1mil treasure in case of emergency moneysinks. It helps that I'm too lazy to convert my assets into usable cash money (like I am sitting on so much swipp junk/extra familiars/stuff I can just sell that it's not even funny).

What any normal person does. I hide it all in cans and plastic bottles and then bury it in my backyard.

It's not a supported transaction, but you can always send some to a trusted friend and have them send it right back to you. Then you have your money right there in your inbox when you're ready to collect it, but it's harder to spend impulsively.
Other than that, I have a reasonable minimum that I am not comfortable being under, so I either tell myself I'm "out of treasure" when at that minimum, or go ahead and make the purchase knowing I'll be in a rush to earn the money back :P
And last, No Spendtember was a great experiment, willing myself not to spend a single coin gained me over a million treasure in no time. Now I want to try doing this at least one week out of each month if not more :P

I don't go to the MP or the AH....Unless it's festival skins..... And then I no longer have treasure to save...

I have a floating arbitrary limit I refuse to allow myself to go under and only allow a couple large purchases per month.
Reminding myself that "spiral scrolls are about 4.5 days of playing fairgrounds" helps. Heurgh.

All my geneing projects have been put on hold until I can finish Mint off, so I don't have much to spend on. I might buy the occasional skin or accent, maybe some artwork here and there, but mostly it just slowly builds.
