Elkres came looking for something to overthrow, and is rather charming and smoothtalking to boot. Zephyr's older sister is the reigning matriarch of the clan, and not seeing why HE shouldn't have the same power if not more then his "idiotic, frivolous sister", he's set out to take over. They found out they have similar ambitions, so instead of fighting they teamed up. Elkres now acts as the prince's personal security, and tends to be a bit overzealous and ruthless with anyone perceived as a threat. They've also got it in their heads that what better to help with their plans then an Emperor? And precious, precious little Gisil here isn't so much a villian as he is the poor sap the other two have imprisoned and plan to make an Emperor. Sorry, Gisil.

Not really villains per se, (The Shade is the main villain, the way I see it), but a couple of troublemakers and tricksters, two plague dragons that found themselves deep within enemy territory, and in order to save their hides, they weaseled their way into Amethyst's nature clan through trickery and deception: Basalt, the ringleader of this crazy duo, is the one that comes up with the crazy schemes. He's the one that got them lost in the Veridian Labyrinth in the first place...he's the one that got them chased out of several angry Nature clans before they found their current one...and he's the one that got Amethyst's clan to finally accept them....through the use of "friend" pheramones poured over them to disguise their plague element from the nature clan's tundra matriarch. She has since welcomed them with open paws, to the chargrin of her bodygaurd, Alexios, who is convinced the two plague dragons are scouts for the Shade-controlled plague clan that enslaved and planned to sacrifice them as hatchlings.
