so I have this lonely lonely girl that I've been looking for a mate for FOREVER [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=3401426] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/34015/3401426_350.png[/img] [/url] (imo pastels are hard to pair because they need to be a tight range so that the babies WILL ALWAYS BE CUTE) and today I was going hey I should check out seafoam/rose/rose in the ah for a whim and I found [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=5828152] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/58282/5828152_350.png[/img] [/url] this magnificent dude at 80k BAM PERFECT PASTEL COUPLE (and scrying workshop says they're not related AW YEAH) [img]https://33.media.tumblr.com/9452f4e3b911b0c21dc8ad629f8a8e8c/tumblr_naqup98j1d1seaeblo5_500.png[/img] and they're both light dragons too wow

@Zyll I've put them up in my hatchery hoho (I AM JUST SO PLEASED WITH THEM) so yes, BAM THERE you're on the pinglist! :DDDDD

Whaaaat whaaat say whaaaaat That's the color combo I'm going for! Just with the primary and secondary flipped, and surprisingly the seafoam/maize/rose color combinations are all rare. Glad you found them!

but yeah seafoam/maize/rose or seafoam/white/rose combinations are crazy rare, and it is my goal to catch them all

the only combo left I need to get is the rose/seafoam/white or maize, and that's. really. rare.

@melcantus Well if I can't find better mates to narrow the ranges for the two of them via sales, I can always ask one of the people who have one of the rose/seafoam/maize dragons out there if they'd be willing to stud with either. I'm not sure which is better at the moment, I guess I could try both, although that would require two total strangers being nice and saying "yes, you may borrow my pretty rare dragon!".

Edit: And aaah, so it's YOUR dragon Psyche that's the common ancestor for most related color combinations near rose/seafoam/maize! I keep running into that problem.

@AnnieFelis oooh! I do have a rose/seafoam/rose girl though (dango's sister hahaha) , so if I could find a rose/seafoam/white or rose/seafoam/maize, I could breed that. (someone actually exalted a rose/seafoam/white imp tho HORROR OF HORRORS)

I've done breedings with strangers before but I'm still quite wary sometimes ahaha. some people have been really really nice though gosh!

@melcantus Well if I ever get any success with this project, you'll get first dibs on a baby. Will probably cost as much as Dango cost me though, heh. This is a tricky project indeed.

@AnnieFelis I'd love to hear if you manage to get pastel babies yes! and haha, I understand! Dango was priced that high because her color combo is really rare (and also because I needed gems for accents...)
