TOPIC | [EarthDom] Dragons & Dragons - Done!
It would be pretty funny if each NPC just had this parade of randos showing up asking the same sort of questions and dipping out. From that perspective, we're the weird ones by far.
@Amorfera LOL IRL to the point that the family asked me what’s up. And to be honest, these NPCs are SO accommodating no matter how this takes place. If I were one of the NPCs, even ONE rando showing up has a 50/50 chance of me gushing “I worked from home and haven’t talked to a new person in 3 weeks let me tell you about my life and town!!” or “EEEK, PEOPLE!” Roll your charisma or luck first LOL.
Multiple dragons were invited, but they were "split up" into multiple alternate versions of Rockswell, making so only one dragon was working in each instead of an awkward crowd. And another thing; as Amorfera hypothesized, maybe the dragons that go missing actually DON'T return to their "native" version of Rockswell, but instead end up at their home in an alternate universe (maybe their versions get 'swapped' by rockswell's weird eldritch space-time as they "return").
@ChaoticFriendzy I like this! It’s very meta and boggles my mind too though. And ya it’s Thursday but I bet you could speed run to catch up if you wanted.

His enemy is talking. Maybe even the attack was non-lethal and as reasonable for detainment as his own squashes, given that HIS party had arrived armed with a sword. He stares Miasma down without breaking contact once, while lowering his head to listen to Tochi’s heartbeat and feel breath on his own tough cheek. (( Since I can’t ask DM if it were non-lethal, I will assume a) “as if asleep” is an indication or b) if it IS lethal I ask for damage over time method and some minutes of breathing so that my character doesn’t realize how bad it is. )) “Congratulations,” DuckNorris starts off dryly. “You could have had dragons lined up, with offerings, waiting for DAYS to be CHOSEN for hallucinations from dandelion wolf medicinal plant spores. And you could have made the town EARN a mist and plants as far as the eye can see. Instead, you have monsters running amok and changes all over town willy nilly. These people didn’t WORK to DESERVE everything you’re doing. You could have made it a PRIVILEGE but instead you made it AN AFFLICTION.” The Snapper could easily picture the long-range mage dropping him for charging OR fleeing with or without Tochi’s body. So if he had nothing to lose, the least he could do is hammer some doubt into Miasma’s plans with brusque scolding. If he can't make Miasma feel like a villain for setting loose monsters and disruptions to both environs and dragons alike, perhaps he can at least make her feel like a fool for not handling her affairs better. (( Edit to add the last sentence above, to clarify my OC is NOT in support of Miasma's plan itself but figures she won't listen to anyone calling her wrong, and he's just trying to take her down a peg in a lesser way he thinks could sink in. ))

@Taccs (for sun) this just makes me think of an ad like "local blooming hedgehides in your area" lol (for mon) yeah I do think this one in particular is difficult to jump into, I liked the concept but it's a little harder to execute than I thought. For people who are asking questions after the next day has been posted, I might just open myself up to questions at the end if they haven't been answered bc I have to keep the daily posts vague enough to be a response to everyone. (for thurs) LOL just think of them as oatmeal puppies.... tbh I stopped training in mire so long ago, my glr agenda grows muahaha

@NerdMom Aw I love that your clan would totally be into this LOL (and yeah Tochi's fine she's just knocked out, I couldn't do that to my queen)

@stormdrink I feel that omg this week has been so busy I question my decision to run the event butttt it's for earth and I was so excited to do it. I hope you have a fun time backreading everything, it's been crazy lol. And I think probably next time I'll run this is our RBC push (maybe earlier!) so you'll def have another chance in the future!

(( I told pirate-loving husband about the Kraken cult and he said "read me a bedtime story" in a playful way so YES you'll get +1 fan ^o^

Yay for Tochi living. I didn't think you'd go as dark as a death at our feet but covered my bases rather than assume plot armor. ^^; The vibe of SPOOKY AND WRONG has been fantastic this whole week! <3

also you're doing great to DM for so many people.

For latecomers, I imagined they have an 80% chance of their questions being duplicates of what others already thought of, or they just assume that the NPC clammed up for their particular question, but yeah, the scope of keeping up with all this does sound large. Hang in there! ))

 2. The scent of saltwater is coming from the direction you are heading. Seems like you're moving toward the ocean...
