I was about to mention that bowling was not a thing in the 1920's, but apparently, the first recorded bowling-esque game happened circa 5200 B.C.E. in Ancient Egypt. Indoor bowling was invented in 1840 in either New York City or Great Britian (where it happened first is a bit of a mystery). How time flies...
