Hi — old player, logging in after a while.
I know you definitely didn't used to be able to change the elemental type of a dragon's eyes, but I seem to recall seeing some update where...maybe now you can?
Did I hallucinate that or is there now a way?

@deerkin
there is no way to change a dragon's element. if it's purely for visuals and you don't mind messing around with apparel (and if your dragon isn't an Ancient, this only works on modern breeds since Ancients can't wear apparel), there are apparel tricks to make it look like a dragon has a different eye color. the tricks involve layering the Marva Eyes (a set of joke items to give dragons silly eyes) and/or colored goggles or monocles under masks. I've used this a few times myself:
Asiedu has Marva eyes underneath a mask

here's a link to the game database page for one of the Marva eye types, you'll find the others in the database comments:

as for goggles and monocles, all Goggles items and all Monocle items should work. note that Eyewear items don't work since they don't actually cover the eyes.
in my experience, Steampunk Goggles have the best colors, Arctic Goggles are the easiest to layer under masks on poses with two visible eyes, and Monocle items are the best option on poses with only one visible eye.
