For a little bit maybe a few months ago(?) they were regularly updating the threads, after this exact concern was raised. But yeah @/StarDay could be right. Might've bitten off more than they could chew.
:/
Seems to have been forgotten about. :C

It seems like they're just straight-up ignoring everything, yeah. Really weird.

This was a pretty major criticism during discussions about the issues Fathoms faced... where people were BEGGING for there to at least be some sort of acknowledgement of what is or isn't functioning properly BEFORE the fixes go live, preferably before the thread is closed...
... It's a little disconcerting that this pattern is picking back up again.

I was gonna go make a Suggestions thread before remembering they'd just lock it and link to Contact Us so I would encourage people to send a thing through Contact Us. Just because they were keeping threads updated for a time after the whole fathom debacle does not mean it's okay to suddenly backslide into that old habit. The threads with their little bulleted lists exist for PLAYERS. They need to just copy-paste whatever internal lists they have. It would literally take like 2 minutes maximum per error thread, factoring in text formatting.
They closed the soil/loam error thread and didn't say anything about some color errors people pointed out as well. They put some fixes in for some colors so that patterning would actually be visible, but there were more colors that still needed to be adjusted that they didn't catch the first time around. The first round of fixes addressed the same issue that people were reporting later on, but they never got around to those later reports
I'm assuming they're just too busy and bit off more than they can chew. There have been a lot of gene releases, and they're also probably be working on more for the future. If they don't get around to it by the deadline, I'm guessing they'll just close the thread. I know they try and keep a healthy pace for their artists and devs, unlike what is common in the development industry with crunch times and whatnot
Pros and cons of the deadlines... prevents them from changing things that people have already gotten used to and like, but also means they can't really fix errors past that deadline or else they'd be breaking their own established rules. Maybe they need to extend that deadline or something, especially with the rate that gene releases are coming out
