I recently came back from a hiatus and got back into the coli/profit exalting and it got me wondering about other people's approaches. Do you train two at a time or one? What are your dragons' builds? What's your preferred venue?
Personally, I use a glass cannon and a mage/healer--maybe not the most efficient, but I like how reliably they work together. I remember I used them in the kelp beds before some slightly tougher enemies got added to that venue, but they fare beautifully in the mire and I almost never have to refresh.
I was in the process of leveling up one of my permas to 25 before my hiatus (she's at level 20) and I think I was probably planning to try a different build with her, but at this point I've completely forgotten what it was, so I'm also kind of looking for ideas here hvjvgfc

Solo Mire trainer. I use
this build, using the Scratch version.
Mine has Haste, too, but I always forget to us it. It still works fine.
I upgraded to it from having dual trainers. It made an immense difference. Even though it might take a few refreshes to get a pack you can safely set up on, and can't fight bosses, it's fast. I can level up eight dragons, in well under half an hour.

I got my Mire Flyer to level 2 fodder at the same time. Works alright - unless Elims start missing. XD
As for builds, we got the newly developed Boss Bonker/Clobberer to play around with. Quite fun and really helpful if you plan to farm bosses in lv25 venues. ->

I often train in the Mire with a single trainer dragon, then one of the trainees will be fodder and the other trainee will be one of the permas I'm trying to get up there. I had to tincture my Mire trainer a few times though to mess around with what stats I actually liked the most. My current build is on her:

Slowly I've been leveling up other dragons to be trainers, so far I like the meditate Ghostlight ruins builds and same with the Harpy's Roost. I also recently got my Boreal Woods trainer finished but he feels so slow next to the other ones I have so far, so I only really use him when I want to also farm stuff from that venue.

Mire Millionaire (I used to use the Scratch build, but tried out the Meditate build and ended up liking it a LOT more) in the Mire, training 2 fodder until I reach Lvl 7 (Lvl 10 during boosted EXP events).

I got two trainers as well, One as the
'fighter' and second as the
'support'
My main fighter has elim for the fodder grind, and shred + slash + sap for potential bosses
And my support has Rally for boosting, + clobber for boss encounters... I've been thinking of giving him a Haste too bc it's such a good tool to have, but i've done just fine without
They don't have any specific builds, i've just looked at actual builds and made something similar but not exact with mine(my fighter has more health than average mireflyer at cost of some speed i think, plus the obvious difference in battle stones used)

Solo Mire trainer with Meditate, Sap, Eliminate, Haste, and Rally.
No resets needed, except on bosses. (Though, he can beat bosses with good RNG and some potions, it's just faster and more efficient to skip them.)
I’ve got a few Level 25s, and while I know it’s outdated, I do still use the Culex guide as a starting point. I spend a lot of time in the Mire when I’m training fodder. That said, I recently used a
Ghostbuster or Ruins Raider build to build a dragon for Ghostlight Ruins purposes (it’s my favorite venue). Despite both builds being pretty outdated now, I still like them and have success with them.

I've been using a Ruin Wrecker build to train fodder in the Ghostlight Ruins, but I think the fastest way to train up a single dragon is use two level 25 dragons in the level 25 venues.

Life is just a neat example of electromagnetic force!
Nearly all my Coli grinding is done by a solo Scratch-based Mire trainer; currently it’s
this build from 2021, which is slightly faster (at the cost of some VIT) than the Maki recommendation uSco linked. Maki’s builds are generally well-optimized; I’m just using an older one because I can't be bothered to tincture :V
Muscle memory keeps me on Scratch-based builds; with Meditate sets, I hit the wrong buttons enough to negate the theoretical efficiency boost >_>" On that note, I keep eyeing
this Kelp Beds build, but haven’t actually statted up a dragon for it yet....
Besides build-specific pointers, my “method” to leveling a single dragon long-term is to stick the prospective trainee in one slot, then keep training fodder as usual in the third. I level fodder frequently enough that I can usually train a dragon from 1 to 25 within a week or two. You can also dump a bunch of VIT points onto the trainee (and fodder, mid-refreshes) so they can sponge up some hits for your actual trainer!
