Personality Loki is neither a good man, nor is he a bad one. He follows his own laws and beliefs and listens to no one. He has problem with authority and retaliates against anyone wanting to chain him down. His meeting with the Windwalker clan had been accidental. He had been on his way to one of his hiding places when he'd stumbled upon a group of hatchlings all alone. Loki, though fully in denial about his weakness towards children, approached the crying children and helped them find their home. The clansmen thanked him wholeheartedly and invited him to stay for the day. While reluctant, Loki did end up staying with the eclectic group that night. A night became a week, then a month, then several months, until it was a given that Loki was one of them. Loki quickly integrated himself into the clan and its politics, rising up the ranks as a powerful Mage and battle strategist. He's a master liesmith, able to cook up lies in a matter of minutes. He has managed to wiggle out of several sticky situations with honeyed words and his great acting skills. Though he may not be on the lookout for a mate, he doesn't hesitate to sweet talk a naive young dragon when the opportunity arises. He is always polite and wears a small smile. When he feels no need to hide behind his mask of gallantry he is to be an aloof and cold dragon, never short on mocking words. Loki wields sarcasm like a blade and with pinpoint precision. It is hard to get him to drop his masks and anger him. He has a weakness for jewelry, high quality armor and fine clothing on which he unrepentantly spends his whole salary. No one can argue that he doesn't have a keen mind for strategy. Though not used to teamwork, Loki can cook up simple, yet effective battle strategies that can be easily employed, often on the fly. He has several major battles they've won thanks to his strategies under his belt. Even those who may dislike him due to his cold disposition and condescending words grudgingly respect him.

Born under the sharp eyes and rigid hold of his father, the leader of a powerful clan of warriors, Loki grew up ridiculed and berated by both his peers and adults. Loki was no fighter – he was lean, small, bookish and introverted. While his older brother, the golden boy of the clan, was out roughhousing with his friends, Loki would be sequestered in the clan library, reading about anything and everything.

Magic fascinated his sharp mind, however, he quickly learned the magic arts weren't appreciated in the clan. Magic was viewed as the art of women and male Mages were frowned upon and seen as weak. No matter how skilled he was, he was never good enough in "what truly mattered".

Loki began to drown in anger and loathing towards his clansmen, until one day the glass of hate spilled over and Loki lashed out against his bully of a brother. He gravely injured his brother and was subsequently exiled from his home. Loki left, head held high, ready to search for a new place to settle in.
