since im apparently watching this thread to warn ppl about image hosts... catbox is a good alternative EXCEPT it is not viewable in some countries or on some connections.

australia, ireland, the UK, iran, and afghanistan block files from catbox, and multiple popular internet providers like spectrum and verizon have blocking that requires a DNS workaround.

imgur is also banned in turkey, indonesia, china, russia, and only works occasionally w/ a vpn in my experience. lots of image hosting sites end up blocked some place or another. catbox files can at least be accessed with a vpn, but i'll digress that it's not the best solution out there.

Man, I had no idea imgur also started having this issue recently. Very unfortunate... I've also read about imgur being blocked for some places, so I've been dabbling on alternatives. I'm currently trying filegarden, for anyone wondering! I have no idea if it is blocked, however. i'll add to this: does anyone know the fix to postimg.cc links as well? they're all broken for me :( i can access the image if i right click and open a new tab to view it on its own, but it's really inconvenient when forum posts for events are just... all borked on my end.

However, while going through my dragon bios I noticed that the bio format/text or something seems different, but that might just be because I haven't looked at them much lately? I ended up using tumblr temp but imgur took one of my posts down despite it just being for a skin for a dragon. now i cant even post there lol. so i feel some images are just being taken down. [emoji=bogsneak confused size=1]

It seems like all the images that were showing up broken have been fixed at some point in the past day? So... I have no idea what that was. But it looks like things are back to normal with imgur now, links are working fine. that was weird!
