Biography

Vitali's Warriors Descendant
Generation 6

Vitali Rezo AmouranthScythiaAurosErden → Me!

I am part of Vitalis Warriors! This family of dragons descends from Vitali, a guardian dragon with a strong warrior instinct and a desire to protect others. Instead of taking a charge herself, she vowed to have hundreds of descendants to send across Sorienth who are trained and ready to become their own clan protectors. Those from Vitali's bloodline have become part of a large coalition of warrior dragons, devoted to defending their chosen clans as well as sending their own children out into the world to continue the legacy.

The Beginning
Hatched on the Starwood Strand in the Starfall Isles, this Spiral hatchling was taken in by his great-grandmother who lived in the the Ashfall Wastes. Scythia, an elder warrior was looking to take on a new initate, to pass on her knowledge and to teach them the ways of a protector and guard.
Soong grew up quickly, as all Spirals do. His head was full to the brim with plans and ideas and fantasies of following the call of ~Adventure~.

The Search
In the lair bordering the Ashfall Wastes, Soong was then introduced to Manilla the Obelisk and Mogh the Veilspun. The two dragons were descendants of the legendary Vitali as well! Forming a team with them [...] Their mission was to explore, form relations with local beastclans and [...]
The two had been adventuring together for some weeks and would be overseeing Soong's progress. Together they bundled up their things and made their way to seek out challenges outside of the boundaries of their new if temporary, lair.
In the Scorched Forest they met a herd of centaurs, mistaking them for foes at first, before quickly clearing up the matter. They were met with a friendliness they found quite disarming and shared their rations and filled the ash-rich air with talk and laughter. They stayed with them for a number of nights, forming quite the close bond with a piebald centaur.

Sitting around a natually occuring fire that had erupted from the ground, they were reminicscing about the time they had since they left Scythias lair. It was the night before they were going to leave, when the centaur offered to have a friendly sparring session before they left. with them as they some weeks ago.
Not having seen much battle yet - outside of their training - the young band of warriors-to-be took him up on that. In the early morning where the nightly moisture was not yet evaporated fully, the young centaur now looked more like a seasoned warrior: an iron studded belt, wearing plate armor over one shoulder and carrying a lance.

The leader of the centaurs then designated him to to lead the team of dragons through the centaurs' territory toward the Bamboo Falls, where they would part. [...]

The Incident
After sustaining a particularly bad hit by a Hawksbill Goliath in the Crystal Pools and going down, Manilla and Mogh were unsuccessful in reviving Soong. Mogh, who had a natural inclination to arcane Magick, sent a prayer to the Arcanist and gave it his all in the following healing spell. Instead of the usual green-tinted glow that accompanied such a ritual, there was a chromatic glint in the air. As it settled on Soong [...]
[The Incident which permanently changed Soong] The first changes they noticed were his horns. They seemed to grow, like watching the sped-up growth of a tree, the pink runic markings along all of his body were fading, as if absorbed by some unknown power. His glinting metallic scales changing to a rougher, more bark-like texture... and finally his wings started to change. Soongs previously leathery wings were growing feathers!

Redrock Cove
The Waterway
The Arena
- Mogh deciding to follow the call, leaving Manilla and Soong in search of a new clan to help grow strong
- Squall joining them for a stretch of their way, before staying in the Arena
- Niraj, an older, slightly more experienced warrior joins them, making their way through the Volcanic Vents where they fight together with no difficulty. In the Rainsong Forest they make quick progress even though the manticores and amphiteres work hard to make their stay in the luscious jungle as unpleasant as possible
