There's another post already about dragons bought for skins/accents, but I realized going through my lair to reply that I don't buy dragons for skins, I scry and then do breeding projects!
Does anyone else like to do this? I'd love to see your breeding project/skin dragons.

Ooh, those are all fantastic! Especially that unnamed Coatl, I love how even the familiar matches!
Right off the top of my head, I think I only have this girl. Still have fond memories of trying to decide if her tert should be in the white or yellow range, and not-so-fond memories of realizing there were not too many prospective parents with the right genes and colors. x'D

designing The Perfect Dragon for a skin is always interesting! looking through my lair, realizing i actually lucked out and was able to find dragons i could just regene into my scries a decent chunk of the time, but here's the ones i did breed!

the above guy's a pretty straightforward color match, but this below skin was def tricky to figure out what kind of dragon i wanted for it... ended up with going with colorful phantasmagoria to create a Vibe but also contrast enough to keep the skin visible!

i wanted ice eyes specifically and really didn't want to buy genes for him, so i had a friend nest a couple dragons i picked out aiming for an obelisk with stained
