TOPIC | swapped veils and lux wings for fun

Everyone is saying these look great (and the editing job is fantastic!) but this just makes me very uncomfortable lol. The Veils' fairy aesthetic and the contrast between the Everlux's grub body and their angelic wings are my favourite parts of their designs!

Ok, headcanon; Everlux are like silkworms and embody the "weaver" part of the lightweaver's name. They are not supposed to look pretty, they exist to fulfill a specific function. Meanwhile; Veilspuns look like they would do all the same things an Everlux would do because they look and act like bugs but don't because they were not created with any specific functionality in mind. They look so similar (and you could probably swap their parts out with each other) because they are just different interpretations of the same general idea.
I imagine the lightweaver made the Everlux and was like "ok you do books and fabric now" and holds out this grub looking thing. The shadowbinder sees that and is like "well I can make a better bug than that" and creates the Veilspun

I disagree with both of these!!! Traditionally speaking, dragons have often been a mash up of multiple different creatures. I think everlux wings are very bird-like and one of my fav things about them. And feathered wings look good on basically anything you put them on. Every dragon breed would look good with feathered wings!
I love everlux wings in everluxes , it keeps them from being too bug like!!!

I disagree with both of these!!! Traditionally speaking, dragons have often been a mash up of multiple different creatures. I think everlux wings are very bird-like and one of my fav things about them. And feathered wings look good on basically anything you put them on. Every dragon breed would look good with feathered wings!
I love everlux wings in everluxes , it keeps them from being too bug like!!!

damn surprised everyone is saying they prefer the swap, don't get me wrong the photoshop was done well but I don't like how any of these look dskjshdkfg
maybe if the veil's wings were larger, although ofc then they wouldn't fit in the squares!
