I was extremely fortunate in some ways that I burned myself out on Fairgrounds very early on in a time when there weren't many alternatives to making treasure and had to drill this into my own head as I watched other people do way better with dragon finances and ended up focusing instead on my cheap dragons.
I think in the long run it's made me way happier than I personally would have been trying to keep up with external thresholds of "success," as defined by whatever the current money-making meta was, even though I've acquired more expensive hobbies since.
