I hate how we can't dress them because ancients ALWAYS end up being my favorites. If you look in my lair it's literally 50% imps and 50% ancients. Aethers? Auraboas? Undertides? ABBERATIONS? BANESCALES??? Ancients are just so perfect ^.^
Both of my progens became ancients! My custom is the Aether and my random is the Undertide :)

I'm normally such a huge sucker for apparel that I thought the whole "ancient" thing would never vibe with me. Turns out that not even I am immune.

This guy was the one who started it. I took one look at Gaolers and went "Nothing says Starwood Strand like 'Eldritch megafauna'!" I would go on to make several more Starwood-themed cryptids, including these two (be careful; Mori bites):
