You lean closer eyes glazing over as you strain to see it clearer. Its almost like its....attached to something...something. With a gasp you pull back, but it is to late, the arms grab you and drag you down into the inky depths as the air leaves your lungs. Fathom after fathom passes as you are pulled deeper. As you lose consciousness you see its sickly grin illuminated by the alluring light that doomed you. The sound of hope for a possible rescue. Strength floods your veins as you race forward over a dune and start sliding down the other side dodging jagged rocks in your glee. To late to hear the bells turn to gleeful cries. To late to see what you thought were rocks moving. To late to stop yourself from falling in her gapping maw. She sinks into the sand silently until there is nothing left.
