@Khraylen I was playing it modded, I have no idea how this happened b/c there was literally no in-game way to be making that much money at the current stage but somehow he got into a trade deal where he was giving Asgore 4000 gold a turn [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1099748080326287370/1128342003680288919/PXL_20230711_150759025.jpg[/img] I have no clue how this happened. Ralsei was making like 80 gold a turn. I had to go into the in-game editor and tinker around for a WHILE in order to get Asgore to stop making 4000 GPT a turn. I was so stressed b/c he ALSO had like twice everyone else's army and had a habit of declaring war out of nowhere in previous games AND I was his neighbor, it was nail-biting for a while ngl

@cmbcoldspot Ooooh, I see. I play modded too but don't have any modded Civs added on top, just little things like more luxuries (it looks like Civ5), religion variety and the like. Glad you solved the mystery! The warmongering neighbours are the scariest :') I was playing with one eye on my borders if I was neighbouring with Shaka Zulu.
