Regarding forum games, please only select dragons who have familiars - those are the permanent residents of my lair. Feel free to look through the hibernal den, too
Personally, I do not see the point. I understand that the canon is that familiars are sentient beings, but I typically only have one of each, so I do not NEED to name them. I have a hard enough time naming DRAGONS.

Mostly I do, when I find a familiar that matches a dragon perfectly I'll name it, tho sometimes I'll wait till there's a pursuit for naming a familiar and then do it then

I only name my familiars if they’re attached to a perma since you could see their name displayed somewhere prominent. Otherwise, they remain unnamed as I’m too lazy for that lol.
I noticed that some people here are naming them as they get pursuits for them but for me, I just slap a random 1-letter name on one of my breeding project dragons’ familiar and un-name them after if I ever get that pursuit.
