OoOooOo! Spooky text~
This thing is absolutely amazing, I've been wanting to do something like it for a looong time but could never work up the motivation to individually put every piece of it into each little cell, but it's so easy and doable with this, it took like fifteen minutes. And the charts are just the cherry on top, omg

Oh! FYI -- your forgot 'Pearl' in the conditional formatting for the colours! I added a second tab, for the Hibernal Den, and then combined the charts, but it might be worth adding as an option for other people? I'm not the best at playing with Sheets, lol. I'm also thinking about adding a chart for a combination of *all* the genes, to show which one is most popular as a whole in my lair and den, but I'm not sure I'll figure it out ahaha. I still have 126 dragons to add, but omg, this has made it SO much easier!!

@ThistleProse Thank you! I must've somehow removed the last color while checking things are okay. Spreadsheet's been fixed and updated! (Pinging @HalfPintVerdance as well just in case)

For those who have already copied the template and added many dragons in:
 1. Select the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary color columns
 2. Right click, go to Conditional Formatting
 3. Click Add Another Rule
 4. On "Format Cells If" dropdown, select "Text is Exactly", and enter "Pearl" in the value box below it
 5. Change the fill option (the bucket icon), scroll down to a + symbol to add a custom color, and paste #fbedfa hex code (if you want to use that color!)

And for the other feedback:
I figured that you could either duplicate the sheet to make a seperate tab, or copy a new spreadsheet template if people want to differentiate Lair and Hibden dragons :o

I could maybe help you with that if you want a chart for "All" genes? (Though idk exactly what "All" would mean)

Charts is optional, but there were issues with Permabab and Silhouette pie charts that I fixed, and I added table charts to show dragon sizes (length, wingspan, weight) in order. They're optional and I assume people could make their own charts, but if people have previously used the template before the update and would like an update on the charts, do let me know!

Also I have not been ignoring the posts, I've been silently appreciating them very much but don't know what to post in response

Had to test this tool for personal use as well [emoji=bogsneak laughing size=1] With some breaks, it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to add 522 dragons' data to Google Sheets. I should've thought of making a tool like this years ago XD Update: For some reason the Element coloring was missing on row 4. That's been fixed now!

Update: I now have added a tool but instead of individual dragons, you can record an entire page of dragons! (at the cost of not being able to check some attributes)

Also, froze the first column of the template sheets so you can keep track by name which dragon has what attribute.

To unfreeze a column, select (right-click) a column, go to View more column actions, and Unfreeze column.

@BlueLatios

Is there a way I can use this to help with pairs for projects? Cause this is amazing o-o

or are you planning any updates for extra features like that? >w<

What would you
attempt

fail?

@Rosekitten atm what I can add to the webpage tools are those on respective pages that I decided to not add (like parents names and offspring names for individual dragon tools) so it's a bit limited on what extra features I could add.

As for the spreadsheet templates, I guess maybe some extra things can be added depending on what it is in Charts sheet (such as the number of Unnamed dragons).

That said, do you have an idea in mind how you expect the tools could help with pairs of projects? :o

oo yeah that's all French to me, the fact this is so easy compared to old methods I have used to input data is just bonkers :'D

mainly just a color estimate, like scan over input data and determine x dragon and y dragon could get the range or within range of what you are looking for. I think there are other sheets out there for that as well. This one is just so simple and clean T_T haha.
