Naria Currently the site is built to only display one custom designed skin/accent on a dragon, they can't be stacked. If that's a feature you'd like to see, it can be submitted in the suggestions forum:

EowynRose See how the 'Accent Goes Here' layer is indented under the 'Accent Parts' folder in the tutorial image? That shows that it's actually inside that folder and not separate from it. From what you've written, it sounds like the files you're opening in GIMP are the same format as what's being shown in the tutorial. It just might not be clear since you're using a program other than Photoshop. I'm not sure how GIMP's user interface displays layers.

@SuburbanSamurai It looks like when I sent in Accent: Rainy Days I used the completely wrong PNG and didn't realize until now, ack! Sorry! Is it possible to use this PNG instead? The last was a WIP and I got it mixed up with this finished version.

The darkened shadows are set to about 30% opacity (I think), but it looks a lot darker on white.

edit; here's what it looks like on transparent, hopefully the shadows don't make it cover too much!

The Skins tutorial covers locked layers, but I don't think it's explained again in the accent portion of the tutorial. I also don't know how GIMP displays locked layers, although I'm certain it generally has the same features as Photoshop.
