Amber shrugged. "I didn't really have much an opinion. I was just happy to get out of my old clan. 'Anywhere's better than here,' I thought." She smiled. "It all worked out in the end, though!"

You don’t expect plague eggs to just… show up, in the volcanic lands. Maybe I miraculously survived falling from the clutches of a flying dragon, maybe I was stolen and then left to die in the ash. Iorwerth, you seem quite fond of birds! Do you have a favorite species? Also, when you look through their eyes, can you see from the perspective of multiple birds or only one at a time?

Although Iorwerth's eyes (or what remains of them) are covered by bandages, you somehow still get the sense that he's staring right through you. "Birds..." he says softly, a faint smile forming on his face. "I do indeed like birds. I would not say that I have a favorite kind, although ravens and crows are fine creatures. Still, I do not prefer any kind of bird above the rest. A sparrow, an eagle, a dove... any will do. As for the seeing part, I will try to explain it, but I think you may find it confusing. I can see through all of my children's eyes at once, and yet, at the same time, I cannot. Seeing through many is like watching a single scene play out from several angles that form one whole. It is a strange feeling though, so I often prefer to only look through one." Iorwerth then reaches one long hand up to stroke the raven on his shoulder.

"I really enjoy working with rodents of any kind! Sparrow-mice, Rats, Chipskinks, that sort of thing. They're very smart and take well to training, so they make great companions. I'm also very fond of Wolpertingers, of course." He gestures to his familiar, Buck, who happily stomps his feet in response.
