TOPIC | Fnaf movie teaser

I watched it last night, and have been rewatching it frame by frame, as well as watching other youtubers react and dissect it (Fuhnaff, Dawko, etc)
Sent a tiktok of IT to my boyfriend letting him know we absolutely MUST see it when it comes out. I don't think he even knows about FNAF games, and he's about to see a completely different feral side of me soon.
Everything about it has me hyped. Matthew Lillard is an amazing actor and person, getting to see him bring William Afton to life (and hopefully on-screen his "death") is so exciting.
What we can see so far from the sets is incredible, they really are trying to make everything as 1:1 as possible, while still making it an accessible film for both fans and casual movie-goers.
AND the fact that the Jim Henson Company is making the animatronics has me FILLED with hope. They already look so spot on, and having a company that is literally famous for its practical effects creatures (StoryTeller, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, etc) I have full faith they will be as real as they are terrifying.
Also, as many have pointed out all over the internet, the red eyes are an at-first odd choice. Some say it makes it too hokey-scary-movie-gimmick and they should be the proper silver eyes. But this is only a teaser, and it may have ended up being a stylistic choice to translate better on screen. Keeping in mind Scott has been heavily involved in the production makes me feel they wouldn't stray too far from what's expected without good reason and authorization.
So...suffice to say I AM HYPE.

I was always a more casual fan but my friends and I are hyped! It looks like a fun campy horror movie which in my opinion is the best form of horror. Will definitely be seeing it on opening night

Really interested to see more of those spinning fan blades of death - which I noticed the blade points turn inward towards the animatronic instead of out, which is strange? They don't look like they'd have a normal function so you'd think they'd point out to getcha

I'm really excited for it!! I'm not 100% sure how I feel about like, the glowing eyes, but the animatronics themselves look so good. Also it's so great to see Josh H. in another widely anticipated movie adaptation.

I'm not gonna get excited, because of the amount of delays usually mean a movie will not be good, and video game movies are often very bad. I know we are getting some. half-decent ones but those are all children movies that are not story-heavy like Fnaf. I really want it to be good though, and the trailer looks okay, so I'm holding out hope.
