He helps care for her hatchlings and ensures the highly respected fae is kept safe and comfortable. Harnessing energy from the Stormcatcher, the goblin is a good choice because this fits into Torek's lore of needing to be powered by energy. His familiar provides him with energy and in return he cares well for the familiar, although size is a limitation on how much power it can supply. Both of them met while this clan was still in Lightning and before the leaders chose to move elsewhere. The goblin found Torek in the desert after a hunting trip gone wrong, and provided him with the energy he needed to survive. Torek is eternally grateful and defends his familiar fiercely.

So far, they've just been a game mechanic without a lore explanation. I took a look through the database to see if there was something that could be a good thematic fit to Grove and company... and there it was; the Zodiac series from 2020-2021. A perfect fit for the team exploring the distant stars. As Grove is the wind representative, he gets the Roaming Aries as his companion. Considering the setting the representatives are in, having a random magical beast around is a bit strange, and quite possibly an inconvenience. There's only so much room in a spaceship, after all; not to mention they probably need some kind of energy source to keep them alive. With that in mind, I'm leaning towards making these familiars the personal AIs/virtual assistants of the representatives, stylized after the traits commonly found in their flight with some stardust sprinkled in. [rule] As for my personal favourites? I'm awfully predictable and honestly love Nature's fest familiars from every year. For sets overall, the sprites (and their nymph versions) are probably my most liked one, followed by the gem guardians. The recolor of the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/game-database/item/34610]Everbloom Gem Guardian[/url], the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/game-database/item/36049]Reserved Jeweler[/url], feels so much like [i]me[/i] that if I were to have a familiar as my forum avatar, that would be it.

hi! im joining in one day late, but i just started a flight rep project a couple days ago im very excited about :) [b]Sunday Theme[/b] Dragon Name & Link or Widget: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/83016505][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/830166/83016505_350.png[/img][/url] Clothilde Current Flight: nature Clan Name (if applicable): The Meadow What are you calling your flight representatives & what role do they provide in your clan?: im not sure between flight ambassador and flight diplomat... the first one definitely rolls off the tongue better? but i like the idea that all my dragons are trained and mannered diplomats hehe the roles they all have is to mostly share their cultural differences in a peaceful manner; Clothilde in particular is aware of her quite terrifying appearance, and of course she likes to appear intimidating, but she is also very warm and friendly once you get past first introductions. she is actually quite skilled with medicine.

[img]https://www1.flightrising.com/static/cms/familiar/art/47495.png[/img] like his owner Clothilde, Doctor is a bit... scary and repulsive looking at first, but like his name suggests, he is actually acutely intelligent and can intuitively sniff out matters of disease in other creatures, both familiars and dragons. once others get used to his appearance, they find that he doesn't actually pose any harm himself, and has an oddly soothing bedside manner to the sick and injured as Clothilde tends to them. bonus: Do you have a favorite festival familiar? Or "year" of familiars? they all have charm for me tbh, but i actually find the slinks really cute and all around my favorites! second is definitely the zodiac set
