For the Crystalline Gala, we're going to concentrate on flight representatives in your clans. You may call yours ambassadors or priests and priestesses, but however you label them, this event is designed to help you refine their lore. If you are completing the tasks during the week of the Crystalline Gala, you will have a chance to win prizes! The Pearlcatcher notices you in front of his desk and quickly grabs some forms. "Hello! Happy Crystalline Gala! Welcome to our lore building event, focusing on flight representatives. Some clans may call them something different - ambassadors, reps, priest/priestesses - and their functions may vary, but no matter the name, we can help you build with your lore documentation." As he passes a sign-up sheet to you, Elio continues going over the event information. "Even if you've been here before, I want to make sure you are fully briefed on what to expect this week. We have seven themes, one for each day of the Gala, where you will expand your lore (or create it for new reps)." There was a crash in the background. Elio sighs. "Ghost hunters," he mutters angrily. "Ignore that," he says to you. "Each day, we'll have some suggestions that you can use - or go your own way - on specific themes, such as vistas and familiars. If you are joining us late, no worries! You can catch up at any point before the end of the Gala and still have your effort counted for prizes." A cold breeze suddenly blows through the room, ruffling some papers. It's a late night here due to a Winter Wonderland party, so you won't see me too early tomorrow morning. As a result, I decided to open the thread to entries a [i]tiny[/i] bit early. This a fun one since it's Ice's Crystalline Gala week, and we're super excited to see what the festival holds this year. The theme is, of course, flight reps! I'm planning on using this ping list for the daily reminders as well - if you are pinged here and do [b]NOT[/b] want a daily ping, please let me know! Although this is Ice's festival week, it doesn't have to be an Ice dragon! The rep of your choice could be a new rep or a long term clan member. How did you pick this rep? Do you look for specific breeds or colors? What criteria do they need to meet for your clan? Since clans often have multiple flight reps, you can set up a format for your first flight rep's lore and bio that's easily repeatable in the others. Happy Gala!!
