hello! i am an old player from 2014 who returned at the end of 2022 to find that much has changed on FR! i originally exalted my progenitors, but with the new update that allowed me to restore them, i decided to put some care into them!

behold... my sea lion progenitors

Parsley and Cardamom have come a long way from their roots; due to a series of mishaps involving shipwrecks, maren, and sea spirits, they have been transformed foremost into Gaolers, and next into sea lions! fortunately, their offspring still come out as Gaoler, but Parsley and Cardamom can no longer speak dragon, so instead communicate by signing or writing.

like other lineage projects, i'd really like for their offspring to spread far and wide around Sornieth, so i will be selling and giving away their hatches in this thread!

Guidelines

As this is (originally) a Gaoler lineage, they can only breed with other Gaolers; please be aware of this when adopting and breeding!
^ That being said, YOU MAY use a breed change on your descendant if you like!
There are no restrictions on colors or genes.
It is totally okay to mix with other lineages, and definitely encouraged!
It is actually also OKAY to exalt, as long as you breed them at least once first!
As you can see, the rules are not very strict at all, just have fun with the story and spread those sea lion genes :D

Family Tree

First Offspring

the first 3 of Parsley and Cardamom's children went to serve the Gladekeeper long before their parents were transmogrified into sea lions, and were shocked to hear this news. they have grown apart from their family due to their exalted duties, but occasionally pop in for reunions now and then.

the Sea Lion Lineage therefore truly begins with their gaoler offspring, with the first three babies being Thyme, Sage, and Fern:

of these three, Sage is a traveler off to see the world, occasionally writing home to her parents to tell of her journeys.
